We got them from the RSPCA so we can only guess at their ages, we think they are about 5 and we think they are brother and sister

I don't have any pets of my own but next doors cats come and visit all the time and I look after them when she goes away.

She has a tortoiseshell called Phoebe and a black and white cat called Sam. I'm looking after Phoebe this week but Sam is at the vet school having chemotherapy :-( Poor wee Sam, he's not the brightest button in the box but he is very sweet and I'm quite worried about him.

I have 3 cats. Sushi is about 8, I got her when me and DH moved in together. She is a long haired tabby & white who has a lot of problems but is very sweet. Betty is 2 and a tortoiseshell, I got her from Cat's Protection when i was broody and wanted somethign to look after. She is a complete madam and doesn't need looking after thank-you-very-much :lol: She gets on well with the kids. My 3rd is Minnie, found her just before Xmas and no-one has claimed her so she is staying much to Betty's dismay, they are having a bit of a power struggle.

I'm not allowed to have pets in this house, or I would def have a dog by now. My mums dog is still my pet, he's an oversized German Shepherd called Rocky, who is the most gorgeous animal in the world. :lurve: He's 3 in March, mum got him when he was 9 months old, he'd been mistreated and was a bag of bones when we got him. He's crazy!

We have a black and white cat called Theo who is about 4 and a ruby cavalier called Rosie who is 10:heartbeat: I was never a doggy person before we got Rosie, I always prefered cats, but I've found that dogs are so much more affectionate. I still love my cat to bits but he's only interested when it's dinner tme or when he wants to go in or out. Rosie loves her cuddles any time of the day :smile:

I have a black cat called Sticky. So called because when I was in practice she was bought in as a tiny kitten. She got her head stuck in the bars of the cage. My friend was on duty and she bought her up to my flat to recover as she had been sedated. I had a few glasses of wine that night and called her sticky. The name stuck and she stayed in my flat!

The best names I have come across are stir fry for a cat and Angela :puzzled:

We have a rescue cat from Cat's Protection, called George. He is mostly black, with white toes, bib, tummy and whiskers. He wasn't very friendly when we first got him (about 20 months ago) as he had been a stray, and I don't think he had a very nice life :no:. Now, however, he sprawls all over the beds, purring his head off. He's not a lap cat though.

I think he is about 3 and a half now.

We have Tam who'll be 3 on Jan 15th. He's a rescue dog from a farm where he was bred for herding, but didn't make the grade. He's Border Collie, possibly crossed with something....the farmer said no, but I think he's far too big to be pure BC.

Had to seek out this forum as I am married to a man who thinks he is James Herriot ( minus the wads of dosh, oh yes, and the vet degree!:lol: ) or even Dr Doolittle.

At the moment we have:

an aging (13yrs) black lab called Bobby who is more white now than black, really. We lost his big sister Tillie last boxing day. One of the worse days of my life.

a mad rabbit called Harry ( a la Potter) who seems to think he is a dog and who loves to jump up on my new ( leather) suite.:hissyfit:

a hamster called Steve who lives in a very girly pink rotastak and who is an evil little fecker

about 3 million tropical fish in 3 tanks in the house and another 33 tanks in a shed in the garden ( don't ask but they're not mine!:doh: :doh: )

none of these animals are officially mine but I unsurprisingly do all the cleaning, feeding, walking etc!

We have a gorgeous 2 yr old choccy Lab called Roses(!), a beautiful but incredibly stupid 5 yr old tortie and white cat called Willow,
and 7 chickens of differing breeds called Tinkerbell, Trixie, Hattie, Snowy, Sheila, Sophie and Princess Luckyclucky - who were all named by my (then 3yr old) dd before you ask!!

I fancy a goat to give us milk and save on the grass mowing but Dh says Noooooooo!:teehee:
