Now I know I'm supposed to be tired (nearly 9 weeks preggers), but its getting to the point that I have to have a sit (or lie) down every 20-30 minutes otherwise I get dizzy and sicky - not very practical with a 4 year old
So, I thought maybe an iron supplement would help, but don't want to get constipated - any recommendations please anyone?????
thanks

Iron supplements will only help though if your iron is low! You should talk to your midwife before you take any supplements.

I think these days some of them have something in them that counteracts constipation.

Floradix liquid. But you can't get it from boots, you have to go to a health shop. Though the pharmacist in boots highly recommended it!

You could also try spatone which is an iron rich spa water that you mix with some fruit juice (the vit c aids iron uptake) Its a natural, very effective iron provider and is gentle on the old stomach stopping you getting all constipated. (gosh I sound like a advert)
Have a look at Spatone (http://www.spatone.com)

If you need to take it, I'd go with the Spatone.

The tablets (Ferrous Sulphate) were soooo hard on my stomach and had me puking my guts up at the train station every morning, so I had to take the liquid.
