We (finally) have talking

Well a week before Nathan hits two and a half we hve words from him- lots of them all at once- even a couple I'd rather he didnt know :(

In the past ten days we have heard about bus, horse hello,car, upstairs, cow, drain and loads of others

Unfortunately OH walked round into his kitchenette the other day and bashed hinself on Nathans table and chair- using the F word in the process. He though that Nathan hadnt noticed - but alas, a minute later Nathan walked into the kitchen, kicked the chair and said "UCK" very loudly- a swear box has now been nstalled. He also managed to pick up the word scum from a football match he attended.

Well done Nathan, except for the naughty words, although he's too little to really know what they mean. We are being really careful about swearing, it would be just typical if one of Joe's first proper words was a swear word :lol:.

(And why is it they pick up naughty words so much easier than normal ones?! Eilis said 'bugger' when I dropped something the other day. Gulp. My language has suddenly become so much prettier since then!)

my Dad was a very violent and alcohlic Father and Husband :cry: Needless to say there was a lot of abusive language flung around the house during my brothers and sisters early years :oops: :rolleyes:

My Mum the staunch catholic had my 4 siblings (before my arrival) with her at church one Sunday and one of my sister's was apparently 'playing up' considerably and my Mum was struggling to keep her under control :rolleyes:

Eventually she pulled her close alongside her and told her to sit still or they would have to leave

My Mum says she had to wait until long after the whole church had emptied before she could get the guts to get up from her seat and leave the church.

Needless to say it's a tale we've been regaled with for many a year.

I had to take Kaede to a mass in memory of my brother this Sunday and I have to say I kept thinking "please don't let this be the moment she picks to do something like that :laff: " but luckily for me all she kept repeating loudly was "Daaaaa-aaadddddd" :laff: :laff:
