what food would be included in your perfect BBQ.
I love mint lamb chops lately so looking forward to them also lots of rice and and chicken breasts marinated. I always think my BBQs are boring so looking to spice them up this year

For me it has to include a lovely thick meat cut (sirloin), spring onions, some chorizo, beans, at least two different salsas, salad and lots and lots of tortillas, but I think that's only becauese I'm Mexican

What about veggie burgers, or spicy bean burgers? Vegetable kebabs with haloumi cheese are nice too. Thinking about it though, Im not sure whether they would just burn on a BBQ?:scratchchin:

I always have minted lamb chops on the BBQ, I also like to make different kebabs using chicken, peppers, prawns, mushrooms etc whatever I fancy at the time.
And bananas!

Our bbq normally consist of kebabs with chicken, peppers, mushrooms, baby corn and onions plus anything else that we have.
Sausages and burgers from the farmers market.
Green salad, potato salad, coleslaw and I get a couple of packets of savoury rice and let it go cold then have that too. The rice is always the first thing to go, its lovely.

Bananas! Yes!
Joanna, you reminded me how GREAT bananas are in BBQ's, just cut one in half (with the peel) and put some chocolate pieces inside it, wrap it in aluminum foil and on the BBQ, until the :choc: melts, totally yummy!

Many tas.
Teriaki tuna kebabs; tuna in teriaki marinade, red peppers and mushrooms
We had a bbq last night, the first of the year :D
It was quite simple with sausages and marinated spare ribs (in M&S sticky bbq marinade) with salad and new potatoes.
If there are more than just us I adore bbqed chicken legs and steak and veggie kebabs

re veggie kebabs, we do sticks of cherry tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, red & yellow pepper squares and courgettes, brushed in olive oil and they are sooooo scrummy! you do have to keep an eye on them but they are worth the effort.
otherwise, i like a good old plain meaty beefburger, marinated chicken kebabs and lamb chops. mmmmm hmmmmm.
we always have potato salad with our bbqs as well.
i LOVE bbqs - in fact we had one today :ellie: and we've got one tomorrow! (double :ellie: )
