Dining Table Centre Piece?

I was just wondering if you have anything as a permanent type of centre piece on your dining table? We've just ordered a new table and chairs today :ellie: The one we have at the moment is always covered with files and laptops :bwahaha: so the rule for the new table is for it to be kept clean and tidy and actually used for eating at :yeahright:

I'm thinking of a vase of flowers or candles or something like that, but just wanted to get some ideas and something maybe a bit different.

We just have a really big plate (it was a wedding present) and some matching candlesticks, so not very original. Most of the time our table is littered with Leah's crayons, which aren't much of a centrepiece!
