View Full Version : Am I being too picky?

I bought a really nice white shoulder bag from Debenhams the other day (Jasper Conran) and I noticed it's got two tiny (less than half a centimetre) nicks out of the leather on the back of it.

Now, normally, I'd whip it back to get a new one, but I'd have to travel on the train into Oxford Street (3 hour round trip including shopping!) or Clapham Junction, min 1 hour round trip.

Am I being too fussy? Should I just get some white polish and cover the marks?

Or should I follow that wicked Katkinn's advice and get the Coach bag I REALLY lust after?

:laff: :laff: :laff:

Which is this one: sorry that is HUGE!http://www.coach.com/assets/product_images/colord2/7458_B4WT_d2.jpg

I'd have to take it back - if things are new I like them to look like it.

BUT, if you really want another bag and you're anything like me (won't be happy til you get it) you'll probably end up buying that one anyway so why not just get it instead?!

Sorry if I'm encouraging you to spend more money but you'll avtually be saving if you return the first one IYSWIM:wink:

Not having seen the bag- I dunno!
But I would deffiniately take it back- bought a dress last week with a tiny hole at the back of the neck- had to go and change it even though it couldn't be seen!
And you MUST get that Coach bag- it's LUUUUSH!

Minky, I am a Coach junkie so you know what I'm going to say....

And of course it will last for ever so it's really a very economical buy! (hmm. I don't think I've even convinced myself with that one!)
