I posted a month or so ago on the thread about late potty training, and would just like to report that shortly after saying Bella showed no interest in it at all, we bit the bullet and went for it..... mainly because she was starting her visits into the pre-school class at nursery, and they prefer children to be out of nappies if at all possible.

We had a hellish week of weeing all over the place (including into my handbag in a pub! - don't ask!), on the floor in the coffee lounge at the gym etc etc, and me getting stressed and going grey. And one stupid woman at the creche at the gym asked me if she'd got a weak bladder, as she'd had an accident there too..... I was so stunned at the stupidity of the question that I am still trying to think of a polite answer!

The second week was a lot better, a few accidents but also a lot of resistence to the idea of using the loo / potty "I don't need a wee!" followed by an accident three minutes later. I went greyer.....

The third and fourth weeks - success! No accidents, she held on when we were in the car and it took a while to get home, and she has been dry the last three nights too!

I'm still greyer than I was at the start of the whole potty training experience, but just thought I'd share that it wasn't actually as bad as I'd thought it would be, and I'm sooooo proud of my little girl at the moment!:lurve:

Well done, Bella!!! Lovely to hear a success story - even if the journey was a tad stressful!

Re the weakbladder comment - I'm speachless!
