Whats your routines??

ok, as I am now effectively a SAHM (working 3 evenings after the girls are asleep - so doesnt really count) i am stuck as to what to do.

just wondering how you all fit everything in, and does your OH expect you to take on the lions share of the domestic work too?

Niamh will go to school nursery 5 mornings 9-11.30, so i will have some izzy time then, and the girls will still go to nursery 3 afternoon 1 - 4ish so i can have a rest and catch up on sleep if needed

so, what do you do??

We don't really have a set in stone routine as Ellie has lots of different activities at different times but loosely

7:00am - I get up, jump in the shower and get dressed, etc

7:30 - Grace wakes and has her milk

8ish - Ellie wakes and gets dressed

8:30 - Both Girls have their breakfast, load the dishwater, put the washing machine on, etc

9:00 - Leave to take Ellie to playschool

Grace usually has a nice long nap so I sort out lunch and dinner, stick the hoover round, unload the washing machine and dishwasher and housework bits

12:00 - we pick Ellie up from playschool

12:30 - both girls have lunch

In the afternoon some days Ellie has a swimming lesson, trampolining, etc, etc (Grace usually sleeps through this)

We just play - do painting, baking, and stuff like that if we have nothing else on

5:00 - Grace has tea

6:00 - We all have dinner together

7:30 - Daddy does bath time while mummy cleans up after dinner, gets things ready for the next day, general pottering

8:00 - both girls in bed.

I do do the lions share of the household chores but my OH doesn't automatically expect it. I tend to keep on top of the housework during the week then the house gets properly blitzed at weekends
