Don't stand on the sea front to watch it or you will get washed away!

Wales, the Midlands and northern and eastern counties of England are most likely to be hit by the "potentially damaging" winds, the Met Office says.

Scotland and the Midlands are also being warned to expect flooding

Grrrrrreat! Just as well I haven't gone anything planned this weekend, sounds like a weekend to stay tucked up indoors!

They were talking about 75mph winds happening tomorrow on the local radio this morning. Sounds like fantastic weather for me to be doing the last of my Xmas shopping in!

We have rather windy weather where we are anyway, as our village in on the top of a hill...

But if the winds are going to get up to that kind of speed, then I'll definately be staying indoors.

I do love being indoors though, and looking out at the cold, wind & rain when I'm all snuggly warm inside with a hot chocolate.

My god.

I sound like a right old fart, don't I.
