Do you or your OH eat your toddlers food???

This is really a big bugbear for me at the moment and I just want to know if I am insane or my DH is just weird (I personally hope its the latter)

Dylan eats the same food for dinner that we eat, the only thing he really gets that is specifically for toddlers with regards to food is little biscuits etc.

So he is now at the stage where he is always offering us share of his food or cookie and i pretend to eat a bit and say it is yummy and then he has a bit. But DH ACTUALLY EATS IT!!!!!!

For some reason I think this is wrong and it really annoys me. He even takes a drink of his water if Dylan offers it to him

I tell DH not to do it as its not really fair to Dylan and he will not be getting a second cookie but he doesn't listen to me.

Is this a normal thing to do?
Does this annoy anyone else?
Short of slapping DH everytime or putting him in the naughty corner I really don't know what to do.

I don't think I'd be particularly bothered if my OH actually ate the food Lorna offered us. I'd probably think he was nuts tbh as these days most of her food gets covered in snot from her runny nose :medusa:

Dylan is being lovely sharing his food with his daddy and he's learning give and take!

ruby often offers me a bite of her biscuit, or a chocolate button, whatever it is she's having and i'll always say yes and munch a bit (but then again i am madam scoff a lot!)

Oh alright then I am mad.......

But its always the last bit and I feel really sorry for my poor wee boy.

Its probably all down to the fact that my father used to steal my sweets as a kid.....evil man that he was :laff:

We always eat what Claire offers as she has a huge paddy if we only pretend...

Helena never offers anyone anything :lol: But DH will steal food from her if hungry. Sometimes after it's been on the floor...:sick:

We do too :teehee: she loves sharing her food & drinks. She desperately wants to make friends with the cats, and tries to give them food or her cup. Yesterday she tried to give cheeky a chip (cheeky was sat on the arm of the chair eyeing up the cod, Em was in her little low chair), Cheeky didn't want a chip :no:
She also "feeds" her dolly/Po/bears etc and makes a cute sound effect!
At nursery, when it matters ;-) she tries to nick the other kiddies food :oops:

Alfie doesnt always have what we have and if he doesnt finish if off i eat his dinner or pick at him when he is trying to eat it :oops:

Like Popinjay1's Claire Lucy actually has a right fit if we DON'T properly eat what she offers us, which isn't good for me as she doesn't always eat the same as us. She eats a lot of fish and i HATE fish i've been know to take a bite and spit it on the floor whe she isn't looking and clean it up later :oops:
