I just bought two nursing bras from Bravissimo, as they seem to be the only place that stock bras bigger than G cup.
I bought two 36 H cup (I have an underwire in this size that fits perfectly)
The mw doesn't think I'll grow much more as my boobs did seem to get quite big quite fast with this pregnancy . Basically they think my body remembered from last time. I'm already a cup size bigger than I was when I fed Logan...so here's hoping they don't get any bigger!
I don't actually remember (other than two days of engorgement) that my boobs got any bigger after Logan was born tbh)
ANyway, I have one on just now to try it on and it feels quite tight around....I have it on the last hooks. I've been having trouble breathing anyway, so this is exaggerating the feeling...I feel almost "trapped"
Should I send it back? My baby is quite high so perhaps my back will get a wee bit smaller when bubs is finally born? Will it stretch a little?
I can't wear the underwires anymore as they hurt so needed to do something, but can't remember what the rule of thumb is for sizes around.

Hmmm I would send them back and get a few more in the next size up in a cup size smaller and the same as you ahve got now. Try them all on and see which fits best!
Or gets some bra extenders £2 for 2 in my local underwear boutique I guess you'd have to call it???!! I am amazed it survives in my town centre!!!

I was measured for nursing bras just before J was born. They fitted me with a bra that was down a back size and up 1 or 2 cup sizes.
I measured 36D (normally 32C   ) and wore nursing bras in a 34 DD. They were comfy and worked well.
Maybe the size of yours will be OK once bubs is born and your ribs shrink a little.

I've decided since we are in town tomorrow that I will get fitted at John Lewis and see what they say....I haven't worn these ones and haven't taken the tags off so they can go back once I know what they suggest size wise.

MG you will be different sizes in different makes. I always take several sizes in with me when buying a new bra in the same style as different styles/makes come in different sizes like a size 10 jeans in next is a lot bigger than a size 10 in top shop!
So if your gettting fitted somewhere best to buy the bras there too!
Oh and if your up for loads of fun get measured in 3 differnet places and see what sizes you get my best in one day is 3 different sizes from 4 shops!

MG, when you say you will be in town, I don't suppose you mean Glasgow? There is a bravissimo there and if you could go there and be measured you could probably just swap the bras you've got there and then (if need be).
Alternatively, unless they are Bravissimo own brands, you could try to swap them in JL (if they've got the same ones) and say you forgot your receipt
(of course I'm not condoning such behaviour!)

John Lewis only stock up to a G cup.
I did mean Edinburgh when I said in town, and there is no Bravissimo here
L66TTY - I can't buy the bras at any of the shops in Edinburgh that do fittings because they don't carry the right size. In fact from what I can tell from the online shops there are only TWO makes of bras that go up to the size I need. That's ridiculous!!!!
We didn't manage to make it to John Lewis yesterday for long enough for me to get fitted....I think I will send these back and try the next size up (both cup and back). Like I said the 36 was tight on the last hook, so if I go up to a 38 and can wear it now on the last hook and I can still pull it in the other two hooks when I shrink down a little.
Bah, that makes me a J cup!!!!!!!

I got mine from Bravissimo and was wearing a 38F when I got measured.
They said I'd be a 36G after the birth (which I was), although now I've stopped breastfeeding I've gone back down to my normal 34FF.... very relieved at that as I've got loads of gorgeous bras and I really didn't want my boobs to have changed too much!
