Now im having second thoughts about the dress, im also having second thoughts about the colour scheme:faint:

first i thought of changing the date, but we have already sent out save the date cards.

All the colours i pick are winter colours:doh: I Just cant help it, im drawn to reds and violets and golds!

Im getting in a right Tizz about it so ive decided to come online and try and visualise everything nd have an online scrapbook sort of thing!

Now im thinking of a just off white dress, light mint green BMs and gold flower girl as all invites etc are this colour.

I really just want to scrap everything and start again:cry: the only reason this has happened is that we cant properly afford everything we REALLY want:cry:

I'm afraid I cant add anything constructive as I got married about 4 weeks after we decided to tie the knot and DH organised everything except what I was wearing. We didnt have a big 'do' though and there's no way I could have coped with spending months planning it. I thrive on spontaneity (sp?) :grin:

Who said reds violets and golds are winter colours? If you want them then go for it :thumb: . Its your day and you should have what you want!

I'm sure that whatever you decide you'll have a brilliant day and you'll all look FAB!

Violet isn't a winter colour IMO and I am having gold and white or cream and browns for our wedding in June. If its what you like have what you want its your day and sod wht everyone else thinks!

I think the gree and gold sounds nice.

I went through this. I chose pink/white/black. It looked nice in the end but I changed my mind so many times.

If those are the colours you want then have them, our colours were black and red and we got married in april, just chose what you love and forget everything else.:hug:

Now take a deep breath and take things one thing at a time. I think a lot of this comes out the fact you are unhappy about your dress, so deal with that first, can it be altered or have more beading, or do you need an entirely different dress? What sort of thing are you after? I think when you sort that out you may feel a bit happier about everything else.

My SIL is taking me dress shopping in few weeks, she is doing the flowers too so we will decide everything then hopefully.

I have decided definately not to go with my dress, it just doesnt feel right and its not what i pictured myself in.

I had red, dark green, gold and silver in the middle of July - never occured to me not to tbh, they are my favourite colours!

Purple can defo me a summerry colour!!

Think of summer flowers and then think sunflowers beautiful golden colour, Red roses, Violet what do you call them look a bit like poppies!!
