I've got it but haven't really played it because our old laptop is too slow. Now we have a new one, would you recommend installing and playing it? Is it addictive? Will it detract from my damselling time?? :faint:

I love it when they do that. If they have a kid already, leave the kid at home looking after the baby and send the parents to work. The kid drops a few grades but can easily catch up.

Otherwise, alternate the parents looking after it, one goes to work whilst the other stays home and swap the next day.

I do that when I get bored with them which is often. Mr Coobie downloaded a bottle of poison and got a load of sims to drink it, there were dead sims all over the place.:teehee:

I love Sims, although don't get time to play it often now.

Like mrs coobie, I really like making my sims get all loved up and get married and have kids, but after that I lose interest. Usually I introduce a homewrecker into the relationship to spice things up.

I do the swimming pool trick too when I'm bored of a sim - used to do the locking them in a room and starving them but it took too long. I'm not a sadist really I promise! Burning them to death is also pretty easy, but a bit too sadistic.

Anyone have the business expansion? I really like it because it gives a bit more direction in the game.

Faaaaar too addictive, that's why I decided against buying it and limited myself to only playing on it at other people's houses instead of spending time with them

I've done that a few times if they won't 'play the game' when i'm trying to get them married off or something

Its Sims deluxe I have (a slightly improved version of Sims 1)

:ellie: (love that smilie!)

I'm not very good at it!

My parties are crap, my proposal for marriage was rejected and I just turned into a grey old spinster!

Hi Dizzy it's your Sims2 addict friend here!

I was getting so annoyed by my lack of being able to play it that I nagged DH into getting me a lovely Sony PSP with Sims2 Pets on it so I can play it while sitting in the living room with him! It's not as good as the PC but at least I get some fix!
