HOORAH! :ellie: :ellie: :ellie: :ellie:
After being in the Vets for 2 weeks, the poorly one is finally home! We also have a fairly definite diagnosis of what is wrong with her - 'Systemic Lupus Erythematosus' - or commonly known as SLE.
It's a common human condition too, but VERY rare in cats - I am going to rename her Wolverine as I am now convinced we have a werewolf on our hands!
The Vets are happy that she is okay, I have 5 tablets to give her over the next 10 days (wish me luck :brainache: ) and then she has to go back to the Vets to be checked over, and possibly to have a blood test - although she needs sedating to have blood taken, so they might wait for another 6 weeks, just in case!
She is SO HAPPY to be home and is sat in her usual place and we are happy to have her back too!
I am taking the Vets a huge box of biscuits & thank you card tomorrow, cos ALL the staff have been wonderful with her, and I am so grateful to have my cheeky Minstrel-Moo back! :cheer2:
