Digital photography online courses?

Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I would love to learn more about digital photography/photo editting etc as a hobby, but my local colleges don't do an evening class in this.

Does anyone know of an online course that's any good?

I have no idea I'm afraid. I love taking pictures but cannot afford a proper slr camera yet, I make do with my little camera and flickr! I also love to photoshop and hang out at b3ta (but I'm not remotely as good as those guys).
