Just thought I'd let you girls know that I've got to go into hospital tonight as my BP has gone do lally :hissyfit:
They're not treating it yet, and I don't have pre-eclampsia but they want to keep an eye
Also (and actually more worrying :angry: ) beanette has moved back to transverse so they are talking about a caesarean. Needless to say I'm devestated....
Don't know when I'll get back on and it may be a bit too chaotic for DH to cope with coming on here to fill you guys in...

Same happened to me re the BP side of things, Shamu. Good they're keeping a close eye on you so can treat the BP if it gets too high.

Hope Beanette behaves herself and gets that head down soon.

Oh no! Poor Shamu!

It's not so bad in hospital though, I was terrified of going in thinking it would wind me up more but it was actually very calming & reassuring, I was actually more upset to be discharged thinking that I'm not being monitored now!

And I know how you feel about having to switch to a c-section at the last minute. I was gutted but I've come round to the idea now & am feeling OK about it. Do lots of research & reading up on it if you can, be as well prepared as possible. The last thing you want is any nasty surprises! Even if they go ahead & book you in for one they'll still scan you that morning to see if bubs has moved, keep trying to get in all those good positions that might encourage him/her to shift round - or try reflexology or accupuncture? Reflexology is supposed to be very successful at turning babies.

Oh Shamu,

I'm really sorry that you're having to go in, but hopefully things will have stabilised overnight, and beanette has moved.

Just try and remember it's not about how she gets here, it's about everything after that, so try not focus on what's essentially a means to an end. (Erm yeah right, but you know what I mean!).
