Cheeky has not taken too well to the move  we've been in for about 3 or 4wks now, and she has peed on the sofa twice :bwahaha: . the 1st time, I left the gate open  a dog got in the garden and she was too scared to go out of the cat flap. I've since set the litter tray up for her in the car port and she has been (reluctantly) going outside and using that. Today, she peed on the couch again. I know there is no point in getting annoyed with her, she's a cat :loco: , but what can we do. I've heard of those plug in things? has anyone tried these?
what else can I do to make her more settled?
Bruno is fairly happy. there seems to be more cats around here too, so maybe that is upsetting her (have caught a tabby nicking their food, in the house)
Thanks

i think she is marking her terroirty esp in the light of other cats , try spray pet repellant on the sofa and see what happens

Feliway is the spray that calms cats down. You can buy it online or get it from your Vet. I would put in a magnetic cat flap to keep other cats out of your house as they will upset your cat who will in turn pee on your stuff to make her feel better.

Ans I'm dreading it. I'm moving to a new house with three cats in 3 weeks time. They have all grown up here.

We have a load of that cat spray stuff.....try http://www.catclinic.co.uk/... I've used these and they are lovely

It's cat pheromones (and enough alcohol to keep the whole family very drunk  ) and is supposed to make them all happy. I'd say worth a try...

It sort of worked for us....although in the end a course on anti-depressants did the trick

Yes...really.

Had to do the research myself, went to the vets and told him what I'd like to try, he said he'd never heard of it but lets see...

We have been fine here until recently when some b*******d cat has been letting itself in my magnetic cat flap somehow and setting him off again...

can you smell the feliway stuff? when you use a plug in?

Can't smell the plug in at all.....the alcohol from the spray nearly knocks you over though until it evaporates...

Apparently is's similar stuff to the cheek scent glands that they rub when happy...

thanks. I have ordered one. Hope it works.
oh no, just thought, will it draw cats in?
the cat flap is a magnet one, but we don't have the magnets - where would i get those from?

Magnets..most pet shops....Jolleys in Manc (Didsbury area) is a good one...
