Right, I havbe decided that within the month I'm going to start sending things off to agents.
I'm using Bloomsbury.com as a reference point for advice, but has any body any hints and tips.
This is, for me, the scary part. Writing is so personal and I know I'm setting myself up to be ripped to shreds. I mean JK Rowling was rejected EIGHT times before she got a deal and she is needless to say quite good at what she does.
You would all tell me if I was shite wouldn't you? Please!

Thats a good website Lola, I have used that in the past too.
Yes, we would tell you if it were shite Lola, but its not, it is very good. Just persevere with it, you will get there in the end. It may get rejected to start with, but if you dont try.......and just because it gets rejected doesnt mean it is crap, like you say, look at JK Rowling.

Have you got the Writers and Artists Yearbook? That has a list of agents, although if you don't want to spend the money, the list is available at
http://www.writersservices.com/agent/uk/index1.htm
Good luck!

Right, I've made a decision. I'm going to start getting my synopsis and transcripts printed out and I'm going to start sending things off.
Not only will that give me a kick up the rear to get the damned thing finished, but I guess the rejection process is damned lengthy sp I'd better get a wriggle on.
Wish me luck..
Now I have to
Write a synopsis
Rewrite my CV and
Write an opening letter
and print out about 10 copies of the first 3-6 chapters of the book.
Easy peasy!
