I got Xander a Maisie DVD from Amazon that was quite cheap (I think) - he hasn't actually watched it yet as I struggle to get him interested in any TV (strange child). he only likes wildlife and you've been framed although he did watch the whole of funky farm this weekend so perhaps he's turned the corner and will become a true TV devotee like his parents.

I got Lex a set of Maisie books from the Book People eons ago. I don't think they have them at the moment but worth keeping an eye. Also checking on Redhouse. (have looked just now but nothing coming up for a search on Maisie.)

Sorry that doesn't help much

Maisy (with a Y) ;-) :teehee: books can sometimes be found on Red House www.redhouse.co.uk (http://www.redhouse.co.uk). Order by phone and tell them you got their catalogue through book start and you don't need to pay P and P (free for life) :brainache: , which is great. I've got her some cracking books from there (though it is very hard to resist, I must say). You could also try the book people (online) as they have some bargainicious ones too.

Alternatively, if you need a couple for an emergency (such as a trip ;-) ) then I know someone who has heaps and who MIGHT be able to lend you a few  :laff: .

ETA just did a search: http://www.redhouse.co.uk/OrderMech/search.exe/dosearch?TemplateFile=homesearch&CID=1&CDB=1&Layout=682&SearchFor=AU%2CB%2CCD%2CCB%2CCL%2CCR%2CDV%2CHB%2CP B%2CV%2CBB&Cols=1&Sep=1&Step=10&SType=3&PC=6656&SearchType=1&KeySearchType=0&keywords=Maisy

Maisy's year is utterly fabulous, and we have Maisy's noisy day too - which Lulah likes. Happy shopping!

I bought a few Maisy board books and another Lucy Cousins one (Hooray for Fish) from Redhouse at the beginning of the year, but looks like they've currently sold out. Like everybody says, well worth keeping an eye on Redhouse because they're soooo cheap.

Also worth looking in the book bit at TK Maxx, I got a huge oversized Goodnight Maisy book there for a couple of quid. DS has it as one of his bedtime books and loves it.

You can also get quite reasonable childrens books from play.com. http://www.play.com/Books/Books/6-/Search.html?searchstring=maisy&searchtype=bookall&cpage=1. They also do free postage and packing. :ellie:
