Security habits

Does your toddler have a "security" habit?

S tends to pulll on her belly button whenever she is feeling unsure of herself, shy or unhappy etc.
Seems a bit obscure and it drives OH mad! she also does it when she goes to bed and I've even gone in to check on her and found her doing it in her sleep!

She's now started going around (whilst doing it) telling people "You musn't play with your belly button or you'll get an Audi" :lol:

Well Lucy has a scruffy bear she uses for security if that counts. She takes it everywhere and won't sleep without it. When she gets tired she gets its hand and makes it tickle the palm of her hand (if that makes sense) it sends her to sleep.

She isn't shy in the slightest, although she pretends to be, but only to get attention :rolleyes:
