Alfies behaviour is getting worse and worse and its really stressing me and dean out!!!!!!!

Dean said this morning that he is getting naughtier and naughtier and i dont know why, he is actually turning into one of those horrible little boys the ones that i saw when i was pregnant and vowed tbat my little man would never be like

I have lost my temper with him so many times and this morning i was ready to throw him out the window i really was :hissyfit: id had enough and so had dean

The constant winghing and wining for no reason, the constant tantrums for just being told no or not getting his own watyy, this morning he was told off and lhe was rolling round on the floor for about 8 mins, throwing a paddy and headbutting the floor

We try to ignore him but its hard so i have been putting him in his room for 1 min and it seems to work for a little while but as soon as he doesnt get his own way he starts again

Hes also becomming more of a nightmare to get in his car seat me and dean stood for 5 mins batteling with him to get him in he is so strong its un real!!!

I really dont no how much more i can take off him, i think i need Jo Frost is that her name, that Nanny lady or alfie needs to go into "little house or tearaways" (is that what its called?? i really feel like i need help and guidance with sorting him out

most toddlers go through really annoying phases. I've had days when I've been tearing my hair out too, so I sympathise.

I'd recommend getting a sensible book - like Supernanny, toddler taming etc. The key is to be consistent - i.e. for you and Dean to respond to good and bad behaviour in the same way.

One of the main things I remember reading, is to reward/praise good behaviour (even if it sounds a bit daft, any time Alfie does something good, praise him for eating his dinner well, for getting dressed, etc). A lot of bad behaviour can be ignored - e.g. tantrums are usually best ignored.

HTH.
