after months and months of hubbys snoaring...i cant take much more...it really is starting to feck me off knowing every night i get in bed im gonna be up all night listening to it... im starting to hate going to bed with him, which sounds so bad our sex life is just non existant cause he fecks me off all night im either too tired or just cant be arsed with it im tired also with amy being up down still....how do you cope..?
not sure where this belongs just needed a morning rant whilst im up againn:roll:
My dh snores mostly when he lies on his back. I wear ear plugs most nights and he doesnt always wake me up. It is really annoying so i do empathise. If it is really bad i shove him and he rolls over still in his sleep. after 4 years he does it automatically!
There are various cures for snoring, nasal strips and herbal things... You could try one of those? We bought this watch from the ideal home exhibition I think, that electocuted him when he started snoring. I quite liked it but he stopped using it when the battery wore out
good luck

That is GENIUX  Where can I find one??? Mine snores too and I swear I never hate my husband except when he's snoring. Something about being wide awake while they're happily asleep and snoring makes you think murderous thoughts! :angrybot:
I use earplugs combined with the nudge and roll technique. The last week though, we've taken it in turns sleeping on the couch.
My deepest sympathies!

There was something on this on our local radio station and a listener rung in and said she was really helped by going to her GP and being referred to a sleep clinic. There they found out that she was actually not breathing in her sleep and therefore her body was sort of jolting her awake throughout the night, leading to these massive snores. This was all linked back to her blood pressure and with a readjustment of her medication, her snoring ceased.
The other thing the expert said was that a neck circumferance of over 16inches was pretty much guaranteeing a snoring problem as the fat depoits stop the airways from opening properly. Weight loss is the easiest way to sort it, the only problem is that many men are selfish ignorant sods who don't care that they snore because it actually doesn't affect them as theyre asleep at the time...
It was something similar to this:

he did wake up a few times yelling ow as it really got him. I have to admit to quietly enjoying his pain!

It might be worth trying your GP as I think they would be able to help.

OMG - I 100% sympathise with you, my husband snores like a train - I HAVE to be asleep before him or else I just lie awake all night hating him more and more - the worst thing is I always seem to wake up at 7am every morning wether its the weekend or not so I lie next to him snoring away and just can not get back to sleep so more often than not I end up on the sofa for the final few hours of sleep at the weekend.
He is very aware that he snores and has tried all sorts of remedies but still nothing works. He is also such a deep sleeper I could holler at him and he would still carry on sleeping......its a good job I love him!!

DH doesn't snore too often but I am the lightest sleeper in the world so it always wakes me up. I spent most of last night on the sofa so you have my sympathies. He always apologises the next day though :thumb:
