I'd give nhs direct a call.
Nurofen licensing only changed in the last 12months, it could be that Cuprofen haven't applied for the younger age. A lot of infant dosing is based on body weight as opposed to clinical trials - if your LO is big for their age, then they could be bigger than the average 6months old, but I wouldn't with somehting litke that.
sorry gotta go emma has just gone upstairs.
hope she's feeling better, give them a call;

hiya ...i had to ring them again yesterday tea she was really limp and dozey we took her up there straight away the dr was lovely and said she has some sort of viral infection and dont feed her milk untill she crys for it just keep her on fluids cause she is dehydrated a little too so we have to ring our own dr in a litle bit and he needs to come check on her again at tea time...but we just need to watch her so last night we slept down stairs with her to keep an constant eye on her...today she appears smiley but propper snotty and looks really fed up... fingers crossed it isnt this milk..
