What shoes?

My mother bought me a really lovely velvet suit for Christmas that I haven't worn yet because I have no idea what kind of shoes it would look nice with.

The jacket is quite structured and ties up with a single hidden button at the waist and a ribbon.

The trousers sit a little below the waist (but no builder bum) and are straight and wideish around the leg, with a zip around the side.

It's darkish green.

It goes with a silk top that is actually a little small around the boobage, so i may need to reconsider it.

What shoes? It's too smart for boots, besides I only have black and beigey light brown ones. Black shoes? Brown? High heels? pointy, round toe?

Any ideas?

If it were me, I would probably go with black and pointy but thats because I am creature of habit and they are my 'safe' shoe style, they go with absolutely anything!

It depends on the shade of dark green.

I tend not to play safe with my shoes and try to get something a bit different.

Dark purple, teal, hot pink or gold would be lovely with green. (depending on shade)

Either a sandal or a pointy toed shoe.

I was thinking black and pointy too, Joanna, but I have *brown and pointy* a'plenty and *black and round* and I don't see me hitting the shops for a while yet as we are sooo skint at the moment.

simply by virtue of the fact that the heel is lower!. I havent worn heels since I got pregnant and now that i have put weight on I feel that I walk with the grace of :ellie: (god i love this smilie)

I think the animal print may be a bit too much though, the silk the ribbon the velvet the print...together is just too much.

The colour is dark green, but not bluey or teal so as gorgeous as the other heels are, the wont go eithe. You see, it's so tricky.

I think I am going to treat myself to the animal printy ones. they are lush.

Oh the suit is from a shop called trucco.es. If anyone is bothered to look, go to Vestidor and choose partes de arriba (tops) or partes de abajo (bottoms) and have a look at the spring collection. My suit was there a couple of weeks ago but they have finally launched the spring collection so it's now gone.

I am technically challenged, but will try to get a piccie of the suit!!!

ETA: no i can't afford them now, no printy printy pointy shoes fur mich
