Awww - Thanks ladies!!

I've already been crying today at the thought of it - especially as he's in such a good mood today!!

Still, it will make him better and I know he's too young to remember any of it!!! I'm all prepared with tons of kisses and cuddles for him the second that he comes out of theatre!!

Agghh :-( I'm sat here waiting until 2.15am so that I can give the little man a feed. He's not allowed anything from 3am until after the op so I've decided to wake him and give him a bottle. You know what hospitals are like - His op could get delayed and then I'd feel awful for starving him as well!!:roll:

I couldn't sleep if I went to bed - too scared I'll sleep through the alarm!! I've had loads of hassle with the insurance company tonight as well. They won't give me the authorisation code for the op until tomorrow morning. Not sure the hospital will admit him until we have the code so we may even be delayed in being admitted. The guy who I spoke to tonight really upset me - He was soooo rude!! When it's all sorted tomorrow, I'll be phoning his boss to get his a$$ kicked!!

Well, I'll let you know how it goes!!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!! We're all home now and the little man is on the road to recovery! I didn't sleep last night at all but have managed a bit of a nap now and can just about string a sentence together :lol:

TBH, I didn't realise how tough my little boy was until today! He's been an absolute star. :clap:

They took him down to theatre at 9.15am (I blubbed my eyeballs out when they gave him the anaesthetic!!) and he was all fixed up and back on the ward by 10.45!! He was groggy to start with and was still out of it when I fed him but once he'd had a nap and time to come around properly, you'd think he'd never had anything wrong!! He was even dishing smiles and chuckles out to Grandma!!:grin:

He's been so brave and is still smiling now so our theory is that the hernia has been hurting him for a while but now it's sorted, this pain from the op isn't as bad as what was there before! :ellie: Either that or the drugs haven't worn off yet! :lol:

I'm just so glad that it's all sorted now and he seems to be happier for it already!!

Well, I'd better get back to him - There's more theraputic cuddles to be given!! Oh and a big thank you to Dora for being my messenger today!!
