Changing Bag :laff::laff::laff:

When bubs comes I need one that will be big enough for a toddler and a baby. So nappies, change of clothes for baby, wipes etc etc etc, few toys/books for toddler, and anything else I think we may need for a trip to the end of the road :teehee:

I also want to get a nice one, I bought a practical but yucky one last time and ended up hating hating hating it :hissyfit::hissyfit:

Budget around £50 to £100, any suggestions please????

I'm no help to you - I started off with the Graco one that matched my travel system then moved on to a black rucksack one from Mothercare that was half price, down to £12.50. It is quite a good bag mind you, nice & big but probably not suitable for a baby as it doesn't have insulated pockets for keeping bottles in.

Good luck in your search!

I have an Oi Oi messenger bag and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It's my 6th changing bag but I ended up selling all my others on ebay and this one's a keeper. DH bought it for me last year for Easter with the view to using it as a flight bag for P too and I can cram SOOOO much in it. I intend on using it when I have two children too.

Hopefully this link will work.

Have you looked on Happybags.co.uk??? They have some lovely ones.
I know OiOi did some gorge leather ones but they may have been just over £100.

And what is wrong with the one DH bought you or do you just wanna shop?:teehee:

I have got the black and white flowery one from Oi Oi (Blooming Marvellous sell it, you prob know the one I mean) and it's great, BUT now we have got the Phil and Teds, I am using the panier bags, as i won't be able to habg the changing bag over the handles when the new baby is here (well i could, but I'd give it concussion  )

Ooohh never thought of that!!! Though I am still not 100% on the P+T anyway, thats why we are going the baby show to have a good look at doubles and finally (try) and make our mind up!!

Katy I would probably go for something boring like grey or black etc etc

I've got the skip hop dash and I love it - pockets for everything!

It came from hapybags.co.uk - service was excellent.

I got this from e-bay for £15 & love it! It goes with all three fo my pushchairs because there are so many colours on it, it is water proof (and sand proof I hope!) and has loads of rooooooom!

If you do a search for Kalencom on e-bay, loads of different designs come up :D

Adele, I've just bought a Skip Hop too

In black, to go with my Black Ziko, got it from Blooming Marvellous.

It's fabulous, really good, by far the best one I've had (believe me, I've had a few!   ).

Happy bag hunting!

Oh god I need one of these as well. i hate hate hate changing bags with a passion as they are too bulky and irritating. in fact if I am truly honest I HATE ALL BAGS. My theory is if I can't fit it in a pocket there is no need for it.

I am still searching for the perfect inobtrusive handbag that I don't even realise that I have with me as its so easy to carry.

But with baby number 2 knocking at the door and all the crap that needs to be carried on occassion i guess I will need to get one.

We bought a fairly expensie one when i was pg with Dylan ant it was just :pants: there was never enough room in it so i know for a fact it will not work for 2. I ended up just getting a normal bag that could ahve even been used as a school bag by very trendy teenagers of course.

Oh I hadn't thought about this before now what am I going to do as I hate shopping for them and hate spending the money on these things even more.

Oh I am off now as I am really just waffling loads

ooh I LOVE this bag!! If I'd seen this before getting the red one that goes with the bug, I'd definitely have got this! It's really really gorge.

The skiphop ones also look really great (but I'm not sure whether the normal one would be big enough for all my junk that I seem to ferry around - especially junk for TWO babies  berluddy hell - H is SO going to have start carrying her own bag!!!)

If you do get the P&T's hanging a bag off the back when the buggy is in newborn position is absolutely impossible as it sticks out and you have to stand about 4ft away from the buggy  A friend of mine (who bought mine :teehee: ) got the (minging) rucksack that goes with it that hangs of the side which IS much more effective (but as a nice bag is a definite  )

(sorry - probably been about as much help as a chocolate teapot  )

That's the only thing I don't like about the P&T's - the pannier bags - although they're very practical  , they just look like you're going on an Arctic expedition when you have them strapped on the sides :sigh: .

 - although I just keep thinking to myself that by the time my friends get round to having babies, I will have done it all, and just have 2 darling little children running around, and will have the baby years out of the way
