I went to see my consultant today and she said that she recommends I have a c-section again! I am booked in for 29th August!!!! looks like I'm not a sept mummy anymore but an august one :D

I am secretly pleased as I wanted a section, I was petrified beyond belief at giving birth

Yeah I had an emergency one with Kenidee. I am glad... it was ultimately my decision but when she went through it all I decided to def have one

Thats actually quite exiting to know when you are actually gonna give birth. And you get to plan ahead for the actual day ;)

Oh yes defo, are you feeling better about that little disappointment ? Will you get another scan at your hospital later on ?

Jamtart

Yes I am feeling better about it. I'm not sure if I will get another scan, depends if I suffer with the same problems I did with Kenidee...

That is exactly the same as me Chels!!! I am so petrified of giving birth, I am kinda glad when she said I could chose but she recommended a section :yay: I recovered really well from my section with Kenidee - out of hospital on day 5, shopping on day 6

Thanks pikey... its so exciting. I like the sound of 29th August too! and its the day before my dad's birthday, and it means I will be home before Kenidee goes back to school! and it means that I get bubs into school a whole year earlier :woohoo:

Could be a good thing for birthdays though, my friends LO is 30 August and he has a party during the hols for family and friends of the family then another for his school friends in mid-September after he goes back to school, he thinks its great :D

Hey Lou :flirt:

That is great news. I had an emergency section with Henry and then an elective with Holly. It was such a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it!

Funny knowing your little ones birthday before they arrive though isn't it! I only found out 3 weeks before though! Bet you're counting down the days....

Right delurks off back out of here before I get too broody!

Congrats JT!

Its nice seeing threads like this, because the thought of having to have a C section scares me!

Knowing there are lots of you that enjoyed (as much as you could do!) it, is reassuring!

Spandangley - Don't be worried if you need a section! I was hoping they would say I could have one as I was so scared of giving birth

My section wa fine last time and I recovered really well and quickly, so I am hoping it will be the same this time too!
