What sort of wedding are you having & where?

omg no we are so NOT ready - we havent even printed the invites yet :oops::oops::oops:

we are having a quick registry number at 10am (just whoever turns up) to make it legal

Then we are having a humanist (non religious) ceremony at a hotel 2pm (ish) - followed by a basic meal - then an evening reception

we have had so many different plans which we have had to change (from going abroad to having a marquee/festival type wedding that we are just glad to be getting to this point)

Mr TC has booked a tattoo parlour for the time between the registry and the hotel ceremony (i know - the craziness of it all :doh::doh:)

Im sure it will be fine but eeeek we're being so laid back - but then thats us i suppose :tongue:

they were telling us how long our ceremony was going to last!!! and how long the music was going to be - where we could do something - when we were having our pics done and that we could only have such and such and oh we aren't doing this for you now -

I mean ok i can see the timings for the reception food but FFS dont tell me my ceremony is going to be 20 minutes especially when you have charged me an arm and a leg to have it there in the first place !!! you are not the bloody Dorchester you know

thats the thing we had pay an extra (fair few hundred notes)for a 'ceremony room' and they wanted us to hurry along - erm no no no

nah not camping - our little sailing club have said we can use their club house (not at all fancy - BUT it has a bar (cheap cheap alkiehol) - a dancefloor - a kitchen for caterers/room for a hogroast etc an open fire and a little garden

cheap and cheerful just like me and me tc :lol::lol:

d'you know ive never known anyone change venues SO many times :lol::lol: its hilarious you know its only 3 months and 3 weeks to go :ellie:

FINALLY ordered our invites last night - they will be with us next week (talk about last minute :brainache:)

i keep laughing at the thought of a reception at our tatty little clubhouse but its going to be great - just gotta pull my finger out now and find a caterer :faints:
oh and tell my mum :teehee: (i love how i tell the damsels everything first) Shes being cool these days which is odd to say the least

Decorating it should be fun - lots of voile and fairy lights i cant wait :ellie::ellie::ellie::ellie: Im feeling stupidly giddy

AND i may have just found some cute shoes (which arent going to break the bank)

So how are we all getting on??

I have started to have RSVPs come back to our wedding, from my family that some cant make it. Gutting really as havent seen them in years it tends to be weddings big birthdays etc that we see each other.. Im expcecting quite a few of my family memebers to decline becuase they have had a big fall out with my mum, well only 1 of them has but the others seem to have taken my mums sisters side....

I have my headwear sorted, it has been custom made so i can have what i want & how i want it so im very happy & i also have my shoes sorted again having them custom made not going for the traditional bridal shoe & can wear them again after so happy with that although price wise out of what i budgeted :lol: I thought id just go for some flat pump tpe things so budgeted £30 but these have cost me £90 :lol:

I am all reaady to go now though outfit wise, jelwerry sorted just got to decide how im having my hair & makeup....

I can't believe how fast sept is approaching & I no TC you have about 4 weeks eekkkk, how are you feeling, are you nearly there?
Did you have a hen do TC?

I got a sample of my wedding invite last week & love them so there now being made hopefully have them by mid may, can't be much longer as I need to get them out & the RSVP is the 31st July

I'm feeling ok where I'm at quite happy, still saving like mad....

29 days to go OMG 29 days to go

I had my hen do lastweekend - 9 mad women in a cottage in the Lakes with nothing but cake and wine for company - it was bliss - so relaxing :ellie::ellie:

I have just booked my hair and make up at my local salon (i was going to have someone come round but i went for my local salon as they 'know' me and my quirky ways) plus a pamper session 2 days before

my dress does need a little taking up but thats all in hand

i still cant decide about my shoes (its 50/50) at the mo -

Oh not secured a DJ but im not stressing about that - (yet)

erm think thats it really - everything else is slotting into place - there is even a new casino opening next to the hotel where most people are staying so i have asked them if they mind if I rock up in my wedding dress - (they said no and to give them a call to chat what they can do for us :grin:)

oh and i have to finalise the cake too

im quite looking forward to it all :ellie::ellie::ellie:
