How long should bleeding last after a smear?

I had mine done on Wednesday morning and although it's not red blood, I'm surprised it's still going as the last time I had it done I barely bled at all?

I'd give the nurse who did your smear a call - I've never bled after a smear and wouldn't have thought that there "should" be bleeding.

The nurse that did it said there was a contact bleed after she did it and said I might have a bit of spotting in my undies.

I showed signs of bleeding for about 5 days after my smear last month, which is the longest it's ever gone on.
