Tasty beef and chicken burger recipes

I'm after a recipe for some homemade beef and chicken burgers and wondered if anyone can help.

The recipes I have are really bland and tasteless and my OH hated them.

Can anyone help please?

I have a couple of good ones - will post them tonight for you. Have a nice beef one with mozzarella cheese in the middle and a turkey and banana burger one.

Now I can tell you weren't overly impressed with the banana ones but honestly they are lovely - give them a try!

It wasn't that I wasn't impressed by the turkey and banana, it's just I can imagine my not very adventurous OH's face if I gave them to him.

I used to make this recipe with chicken mince but you don't seem to be able to buy that anymore anywhere. (I tried using frozen chicken mince and it was rank!) I also tried turkey and it was a tad dry (BUT I did grill them and it would probably be much better fried) I now do them with pork mince and they are delish!!

450 or 500g of pork
half an onion
small handful mint leaves
large handful parsley
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves
half a tsp of chilli flakes
salt and pepper

Chuck into a magimix (or you could chop everything and mix together but I'm too lazy for that!!), divide into either 5 or 6 burgers and fry.

I serve in a bun with sliced toms, ketchup and mayo.

We have these a lot, really really quick to do, freeze really well and are really low fat!!

Tomorrow I'm trying Annabel Karmel's tasty burgers (but for us adults!!) which apparently are gorgeous, so will let you know!

ps noonoo I will take your word for it, but I am REALLY struggling to get my head round turkey and banana burgers!!!! (although AK's burgers do have apple in them) Can you actually taste banana????
