Hiya ladies,
Sorry Iv not been able to pop in so much and keep up with everyones progress, been thinking of you all though (esp. PinkLady) and hoping you are all doing well.
Well my new regime started Monday and Im doing great so far. Not been having a big evening meal, just seafood the last 2 nights. Yummy it is too. Iv been having Crayfish with crab and shrimps, and last night I had that with some sliced avacado.
Lunches have sandwiches or soup (or both) and breakfast cereal or toast.
Have stuck to drinking just hot water with lemon - had no wine or coffe !! Get me !! I am well pleased with myself.
I am feeling SO positive and confident that this time I WILL stick to the healthy way. Reeeally hoping for a 3lb loss this Friday, though any loss is a start right.
I must work out how to add a ticker too!
Love to all, hope everyone is well, staying healthy and being positive.
Love Cherry xx

Hey hun! :D
Sounds like your doing brilliantly!! Well done chick!! :D and huge well done for avoiding the wine, i'm proud of you ;)
I've been sticking to my diet so it's so far so good, no chocolate or anything in two whole days - must be a miracle!! I've been drinking 1.5L of water a day (as aposed to none) and i have only had 2 slices of wholemeal bread in that time too, yay me!!
How are you finding your new regime? Are you finding that as you are having a lighter evening meal that you are more hungry in the morning??

I would be very surprised if you did not see a weight loss this week Cherry, especially with cutting out wine.
I have been having a very bad week and I always do after weigh in, so today I am going to start a fresh and start eating properly, it does not help when our house seems to be empty of decent food.
Well done PL on no choclate. I shall be glad when all my sons shoclate from Easter has been eaten.

Cherry I hope you lose weight this week I've also cut out the wine as thats a huge downfall. I'm finding I'm bored in the evenings now (OMG only been 4 days lol) so I'm gonna use my 'spare' time which i'd have spent relaxing with a glass (or 6) of wine by going for walks, doing some exercise etc.
I have to say I doubted the whole no count at the begginnng of the week but it's not that bad really. I did have a meal out yesterday so I blew it but - the good thing is I've felt motivated enough today to get back on track whereas I'd have usually just not bothered today.
Pink WELL DONE on not having any choccie and also cutting down on your bread intake and well done on your water! Are you feeling any better?

Cherry, good luck for WI tomorrow, as the others have said i think you should see a loss of some sort especially with cutting out on the wine :winered: :)
RR, well done for getting back on track hun :) i know it's hard after a few days off the wagon and especially with no diety food in. As for the eggs, could you not melt them down and bake cakes with them to save having them there tempting you around the house for another few weeks? My sis did this last year, baked some lovely cakes and gave them out to friends and family (me included ;) )
Saph, well done you too on the wine fast :), and with the NoCount, i'm glad your getting into it now  i found that you after a while you start to remember whats on the list and it makes it a lot easier, i hate having to keep looking things up (i think that why i prefer that plan to the pts one).
Hope you had a nice meal last night, i missed you on msn ;)
Yea i do feel better actually, i haven't felt bloated since about Tuesday, i'm weeing more and don't feel as tired as usual, i'm really enjoying it i just hope i see a result Monday!!

Im almost two weeks in to doing Paul Mckenna and have lost an inch of my waist:ellie:
I've ditched the scales, but know its working through my tape measure and that I can do up my jeans - there still too tight, but Im working on it!:laff:

Hello Cherry!
Don't know if you remember me from Hbag?
Anyway after a few false starts and inspiration from Lyndsey's post I too am going to ditch the scales and concentrate on Paul McKenna!
While I really really want to lose weight I feel life is too precious to start counting the blesses calories again:)
So hope I can join you ladies in losing some weight?

That's really good, how have you found the Paul McKenna method?
Has it been fairly easy or not?

Aw, thank you, Karenmcc!
Yes, its been surprisingly easy. I have not once felt deprived or hungry, and I've done as he says - ate whatever I wanted. So thats included all diet 'sins', like cheese, bread and butter, Indian takeaway, and a meal out etc. The only difference is that I don't eat as much because when I feel full I stop, so I end up eating about half as much of everything.
One thing I have found hard is to listen to my hunger rather than my head. Theres been a few times when I could eat more but I know its greed rather than hunger, but its definately getting easier. Another thing is that I feel guilty eating my diet sins, but as my results show, its not what you eat its how much you eat that counts!
I think its great, I just wish I'd known about it the first time I tried to lose weight with WW, because although it worked it did more harm than good and left me deprived of everything I liked.

Wow, you've convinced me:clap:
I'm off to listen to Paul again.
Think I'll get hubby to put the scales in the shed first. It's a place I never venture so they're safe from me there.;-)
I get weighed every 3 months anyway at the hospital where they're monitoring my thyroid cancer (which hopefully has gone) so I'm sure being weighed every 3 months will be ok and that way I can see what I've lost. I'm not due to be weighed now until 18th July so I'd better go and plug my ear phones and in and listen to the master!
Keep up the good work Lyndsey:clap:

Keep me posted with how you do with the "master".:laff:

Hi Cherry, I'm not too bad.
Just waiting for blood test results to see if January surgery was a success and the cancer has gone so everything crossed!

I have not been doing well at all, and my excerise regime is out the window
Staring afreash tomorrow, i am tempted to try the paul mckner book again, although i cant rember what i did with mine, i was doing it and whilst doing this, this is when i got down to my lowest weight & 6lbs off my pre pregnancy weight
Im another one that has ditched the scales and am going by a tape measure, i am also going to change my excersise regime as dean said to me yesterday that im bulking up by doing the weights, i think im going to concontrate on the weight loss and not the toning
Im going to just go to the gym for the runner ans stepper and doing my charlie brooks dvd and my core secrets one, il do that for this month and see what happens

Well I have ate/drank SO MUCH this past weekend as we were away for my Birthday.
I am determined to be back on track tomorrow though, as I have hated how Iv looked this weekend. Not happy with the old cherry bod, no way hosay. Think I was kidding myself the other day when i said I looked OK in my cossie
Good luck everyone this week anyway, and stay healthy xxxx

Doing really well this week! Have lost 2 lbs so am down to only 2 lbs more than when I got pregnant the second time. Very very pleased!
I'd like to shift the last 5 lbs too but we'll see. I've mostly done it by cutting out the beer and snacks in front of the tv in the evenings! We were terrible for watching a cooking show then cooking up a snack at 11pm  Saw instant (well in 2 days) success.
Keep it up everyone!
