I grossly underestimated my income last year and that, along with being on maternity leave for 33 weeks, meant that it was £13K less than I'd told them.

Anyway, I got my renewal letter through and called them earlier this week. The lady I spoke to was lovely and very helpful but basically said she'd done the calculations and it looked like we wouldn't be entitled to anything extra, which I was very surprised about considering the massive underestimate I'd made and I thought it brought us well under the threshold.

Anyway, I just got £400 paid into my bank account from them, which is great news but I am worried they've made a mistake now!

Really would like it to be right so we can pay off the credit card but having to wait now for the actual letter to come through.

I spoke to them back in April and despite the fact I had told them that I was unemployed before and had just started working again they still had me down as earning what I did 3 years ago...........

I am still waiting for my promised renewal pack so that I can have the amount adjusted as I work less hours now and they never adjusted it before..............

i imagine it is right.

i got some money in may when i renewed as i didn't factor in maternity last year. Had just over £200 paid in but thats it now, no more this year due to our income.

I checked my online bank today and I've just had £150 off them. :ellie: Haven't had the award notice yet, but I hope my payments have gone up as DH's wages had been reduced considerably.

Guess what came in the post today...........my renewal and they want the exact figure I earned in the last tax year............I do not have a P60 that covers it as I only worked about 16 weeks out of the whole year and it came to less than £5000.00 and the agencies I temped with used different tax offices so my tax is in a mess anyway..........arghhhhhhhhh they will just have to take it as being estimated...........
