Where did you get your nursery furniture from?

I am starting to look at nursery furniture but my :faint: how expensive! Can anyone recommend where to look for reasonably priced ranges - ideally a package with wardrobe/chest of drawers/cot or cotbed? I've already looked at Argos, Mothercare and Mamas and Papas.

I have found the Kub Tundra (http://www.kubnursery.com/kub-nursery-collection/tundra-collection.php) range which I quite like but unfortunately there are no stockists near me and ideally I'd prefer to have a look at it IRL before I buy, has anyone seen/bought this range and if so what do you think of it?

Thanks in advance :flowers:

Ikea. Although I bought adult sized wardrobe and chest of drawers + a cot as it was much cheaper. I didn't bother with a changing unit.

I had a cot-top changer instead of a changing unit. It was fab and lasted two babies/toddlers.

We got ours form Kidsmill but they are expensive but rekoned bar the cot bed it should do till they were teenagers and at the time we had the money! However the drawers haven't survived being hung on by little people!

So go to IKEA get what you like but don't pay through the nose or get 2nd hand and jsut buy a new mattress I'll certainly do this if there are any more babies!

We didnt buy new nursery furniture for Zach except a new cot, he had Alfies old wardrobe & chest of draws & we bought Alfie new.

He needed a bigger wardrobe than he had & his room is big so we wanted something more chunky.... We bought the ikea range Hemnes for him

Its worth watching out for the sales as good deals come up then

Thanks for all the recommendations ladies. I've looked at Ikea (I forgot to include that on my list) but didn't see anything that I liked.

L66tty I would be more than happy with second hand! - originally friends were going to give us their cot, however the timing is just off and their LO won't be done with it in time. Also family have very generously offered to contribute, and as I had everything second hand with DS I'd really like some nice well made furniture this time.

We got ours from Kiddicare - I think it was a Baby Weavers one. It's really stood the test of time, and will be in practically perfect condition when we come to sell it once Matty needs a 'proper' bed.

We got a chest of drawers with a changer top, which tbh has rarely been used - I find it much easier changing babies on a mat on the floor. The drawers come in handy though!

I was just coming back to suggest looking at Kiddicare but LiLi has beat me to it.
