What a great day I had I bought a pair of linen white trousers , the red & white patterned one off the website and a few other summer tops ,only came to £55

The sales assistant said the range only came in today , hence why nobody has been able to find it anywhere. I went to the Metro centre at Gateshaead but I have a list somewhere of all the stores that will stock it .

Ooh Crazyfool,

I asked in the Metro a few weeks ago and they didn't have it in, but actually with 5.5 weeks to go I don't think I actually NEED anything.

I'm optimistically wearing my turquoise stripy Topshop T-shirt today, but although it's sunny it's a bit chilly on the arms.

JT, didn't someone say on the Sept mums thread that it's in stock in the new shop in Newbury Retail Park? I think it might have been Woodstock actually. I might go and have a look next week when I go into Newbury to go round the recruitment agencies (since I am now a lady of leisure!!!)

I checked out the range at the Fareham store this afternoon! On a whole was quite impressed (much much better than the M&S range). They had loads of stuff:- jeans, shorts, cropped trousers, linen trousers, vest tops, dresses, t-shirts and wrap tops.

In the end I brought the white linen trousers the same as crazyfools and black wrap top. I will definatly be going back to get a few more bits. There where some nice black 3/4 lenghts I want to get and might get a couple of other tops. I tried on loads, the yellow top Crazyfool brought looked absolutly terrible on me (the shape didn't suit me at all) and a black and white dress I tried on made me look like a granny (really liked it but just not on me) found the vest top sizing really small as well (tried on a 12 and it was mega tight!)

Think its brilliant they have started a maternity range as there isn't alot of choice out there. Definatly worth checking out!

It was in and I bought half the shop!!!

I got the wrap over one & the strippy one in the piccys posted before.

in total I got 6 tops, a dress for brothers wedding, some combats, sungalsses & jewellery. Not all from New Look but some from Next & Hennes as well.

I am about to pack it all in my suitcase for my holiday! I now feel less frumpy boring mummy & more yummy mummy!!

I know I only have 6 weeks to go, but couldnt resist. tooooooo hot today, need some cooler things and some nice tops that cover the bump.

I got the white linen trousers too (£15 I couldnt believe it!) and an orangey top with white dots on it, and a long yellow top that was in the normal section, just got it 2 sizes bigger. I was after a dress, particularly the one they have on their website, but they didnt have one single dress in there

oh boo hoo, I went into Oxford St on Sat and thought this was SO SO SO SO naff :headscratch:

To be fair, I didn't look at the trousers at all, as I have some really lovely cropped jeans and long trousers from last time so don't need anymore, but the tops were all barf inducing (and really pretty naff material as well :sigh: )

Mind you, they really didn't have a lot in at all, so perhaps I just caught the tale end of crap before they stocked up again!!

I would SO SO love to know where people who usually shop at Whistles, Reiss, Jigsaw etc usually buy their maternity clothes  I've done Isabella Oliver and Formes but am at a loss to find anything else that's half decent :yeahright:

ooh spandangley I wanted that dress as well but they didn't have anything remotely like that, did they??

spandangley
04-05-2006, 03:29pm
katkinn, loads of the tops were really thin material. One of the white ones I tried on was see-through!

I really don't know where people shop. Maybe Mamas and Papas, or Jojomamanbebe?

Tell me about it , my fav shops are Karen Millen , reiss and jigsaw and believe me maternity clothes are pants ! I am just glad there is more choice these days than Mothercare.... Hmmm suppose its only 9 months tho.
