Bleeding in pregnancy- 2months(ish)

Its not me its my sister

Shes been having bad pains and bleeding, been to hospital they said everything looked fine and closed which is a good sign, but she is still bleeding:puzzled:

They said shes only 5weeks pregnant but they are saying this as the baby is small as we worked it out to be 10weeks, they said shes too small to do a scan and to see a heartbeat

any advice?

Have they done a scan? Otherwise how can they know the baby is measuring small?

Bleeding in early pregnancy is very common. I bleed early on on my pregnancy with my second baby and all was well in the end.

Im not 100% if they did a scan, sisters not telling me much:oops:

But I overheard her saying the hospital said baby is size off a 5week old!

I think shes booked into Harley Street, London for a scan on Friday for a second opinion

Well it is hard to say without knowing the details, but perhaps she got her dates wrong and the pregnancy is less advanced than she thought.

If she is meant to be ten weeks and the baby is only measuring five weeks and they can't find a heartbeat then it doesn't sound too good, sorry.

It all sounds a bit confusing though. Hopefully having a second scan will clear things up.

Its more than a few weeks ago you posted about your sisters BFP & her being pregnant, id be very surprised for her only to be 5 weeks pregnant :puzzled:

I had a small bleed at 9-10 weeks. They werent sure what was causing it but all was ok
