Sorry another boys name thread

We just can't find a name that we all like. I have lots of girls names that I just love but can't find one that I 100% love for a boy.

The girls names are Chloe and Amy. The names they like are:

Louie/Louis
Sam (after fireman Sam :lol:)
Jack
Daniel (don't mind dan/Danny)
Bailey

The ones me and hubby like are:


Louie/Louis
Ollie
Ben (DH loves this but his parents had a dog called
Ben and it reminds me of the dog. Also not sure if it matches the girls name?)
Harrison (DH not too keen)
Jamie (but rhymes with Amy?)
Daniel
Samuel
Billy

Names that are out are Harry, Kyle, Charlie, Liam and Robert.

His middle names are going to be John Keith. We're
not too keen on old fashioned names although I'm open to suggestions.

Im in the same boat as you with 3 weeks to go we dont have a name either that we agree on.

Harrison is on our list (but im not totally feeling it)

If i had my way he would be Noah i think but OH hates it so thats a no-no

Not restricted really surname is Murray. Oh forgot to say that we have a dog called Molly so not sure if Ollie and Molly would be too much?

I think Amy and Jamie is a nice match but I know if I shout for one to come to me the other one will come!

DH loves Chloe, Amy and Ben. He thinks it as a nice ring to it, I didn't know if we needed a name with 2 syllables though.

Love Oscar, George, Dylan and Jake but DH doesn't love them:doh:

I have a Harrison who will only be know as Harry, something to bare in mind if you are think of going for that name. He gets really cross and says 'I'm not Harrison, I'm Harry' every time someone calls home it! Just as well as he can't say it properly either yet!! :lol:

Personally, I think Amy and Jamie are too similar. My friend always swears by the "park test", i.e. imagine yourself stood in the park calling out the kids names and ask yourself whether they'd work.
