Thanks to LJJ for pointing me over here. I've been lurking for a few days but not had chance to post..so hello.
Am finding toddlerhood v. challenging with 2 on the go..my house is unrecognizable..i find my lipsticks in my dirty wash basket, my comb/brush in the toilet, my loo roll looks like andrex puppies have attacked it daily. It took my 20 mins (no joke) to get them out of the garage yest, i'd popped in for something and they'd followed me, by the time i got one out the other ran in, by the time i got him out the other had run back in etc etc etc. Oh give me back the baby days of hourly breastfeeds any day :laff: They climb on everything etc. But the good stuff is that they laugh and play and make each other really giggle all the time, so lovely to see. So all in all they are a handful but lovely and i don't get much time to get on t'internet anymore but i'm still around and i do still lurk so  to anyone who remembers me from the bag.
Oh, and we currently have either hand foot and mouth or early stages of chicken pox (gp not sure) and poor tom is riddled in mouth ulcers so i'm also getting no sleep whatsoever, despite copious amounts of red wine!!
Sorry for rambling!.x

Hello
Lovely to see you and hats off to you because I am still struggling to cope with one let alone two. It made me giggle a bit about what you said about them in the garage as I have this problem with my cats ie. get one out and then the other dives in  There are twins at Grace's nursery and it does make me realise how much harder it can be, even down to the fact she has to call the nursery from the carpark so they can send a nursery nurse out to bring one of the twins in.
Hope chance to post a bit though, btw are the twins resting in between jobs at the moment?

Toddlers are so much fun :)

I always think about you when watching Eastenders, are they enjoying it?

thanks everyone!
RE EE, we've been made redundant now! We've finished filming as Little mo has left. To be honest, i'm glad as was getting to the stage where i thought if we weren't leaving i'd have said we were. I always said that as long as they were enjoying it, i'd do it and it was getting to the stage where they weren't happy on set. I think they are just that bit more aware now and if they were in the buggy they were fine, or with Little mo they were fine (she was lovely with them) but any other scenes they really didn't like and cried. Thankfuly this only happened near the end and there are some scenes coming up in the hospital where they wanted them to lie quietly in a cot and they had no chance!! I can't get them in their cots in the day at home (whole other thread!), so i knew it'd be tears. In the end, i put on mo's coat and it's my arms comforting him, not mo's. So altho' i've loved it and it's been a fab experience, don't think i'll do any more..
have just borrowed toddler taming from the library...do you think it'll work :laff:

Welcome Cab71!

Poor you, toddlers are hard work on their own, multiplied by two... Anyway, I know nothing about what you mention, my clara is an angel and she never destroys anything...

:welcome: I get a small inkling of how much work twins would be when I have Ryan and my niece but there is 8 months between them so not quite the same as twins, and I don't have the 2 of them very often! You must be exhausted looking after them, especially when they're ill.

thanks for lovely welcome!
it is hard work but the up side is i think i'm losing weight, constant running around and pushing over 4 stone in a pushchair is doing my figure world of good :wik:
LJJ, went to the party and got so horribly drunk my poor OH had to do all the night shift and apparantly he tells me he was up til 2 am whilst i was unconscious in bed with my clothes still on. :laff: Was all very surreal, there was a karoke and seeing all the cast pie faced and singing seemed v. strange!!
anyway, off to get some zzzzs now if i can. Will post some pics when i can get on to do so ( do i have to wait for permission?, can't seem to get on to view the pics)
