This month, I am after a blazer and a spring coat :-)

Good luck with your quest

Speaking of blazers - I returned my stripy one to Next today  I think it was the combination of being: too short, unlined & stripy - it just wasn't flattering, however much I wanted it to be. On the plus side, it appears I'm now unable to walk through a shop without making a random purchase
Animal print longline tee with ruched sleeves

And a ring with a large cream flower on it - impulse buy, right by the till

I have just returned a mahoosive Next sale order. But I kept these:

A 2-pack of tunics, one pink one a pale khaki. Flattering for a baggy top as they cling in the right places - are slightly shaped over the boobage but loose at the sides over my muffin top

http://cdn.next.co.uk/common/Items/Default/Default/ItemImages/Sale/142525.jpg

I have the pink one on today and feel all spring-like in this lovely sunshine.

This, which is loads nicer than in the picture and very flattering. Wore it on Saturday night.
http://cdn.next.co.uk/common/Items/Default/Default/ItemImages/Sale/721669.jpg

And this, which isn't as long as in the picture (odd, as I am 5ft5), but more tunic length and will be nice for the summer with another vest underneath.

Liking those Next Tunics donna!

And Dita - lovely T!

Pancs, they have some very nice jersey blazers in H&M in camel, navy and grey marl, complete with elbow patches!

I bought the grey marl one but am undecided on whether to keep it as I think it may be a tiny bit too short in the waist for me :meh:

Donna, I got those tunics when the Directory first came out and they are absolute staples, I've worn them to death - so easy to just chuck on with leggings or jeans :thumb: The colours are nice, too.

I saw those blazers when i was in H&M, loved the camel one but it was a bit tight on the arms so i didn't get it :(

Got a black and the pinky one instead though.

technically my purchases were last month, but I've decided to keep the following

jeans from gap.

http://www.boden.co.uk/productimages/productThumb160x207/10WWIN_WK587_GRP_M01.jpg

this cardi but in black ... I did try the purple too, but the black will be more versatile ... think this will last for years (as long as the sequins don't all fall off)

oh Deets what a shame about the stripey blazer. I've decided against going down that route as well. I just loved the jersey aspect of it :shoot: I do adore the sound of those H&M ones but not sure when i'm going to get to an H&M. My shopping trips have been severely curtailed with my marathon training :drama:  ooh I"m going with BG next week, I can have a squizz then! (won't fit into my March CC though )

Lomie  at your new Plumo addiction  It's gorgeous isn't it. Over the years I have some completely lovely stuff from there. Normally get one new delicious thing a season from there. I do love the fact that you can leaf through and see something you love and then you get that little thrill of looking at the price. As sometimes it's £45 and othertimes - errr well yes, its £269  They've got all the shoes on ASOS as well (they're Chi Mihara - sp ones) so if you love them it's worth keeping an eye out for super codes or reductions!

Samba love those jeans. And DC I can't believe you're thinking about Winter :point: (although to be fair your Winter is probably a similar temp to our usual "summer", no?!)

Absolutely EVERYTHING I have bought recently is going back. My entire RI order - all the jumpsuits, a dress I ordered from Next (the long ditzy floral one which is completely hideous irl. Way too Laura Ingalls Wilder and not nearly enough D&G :drama:) and my Ash skyscraper khaki buckle wedges  I haven't sent them back just yet but I try them on every day in the hope that they'll start to be more comfortable and  My feet are just too narrow and as they're soooooo high my foot just slides forward and practically fall off the end. Not a good look. AND AND AND I simply cannot find my D&G clog sandals from last year  I have looked everywhere, absolutely Zero idea where they've gone  I guess I must have left them somewhere or put them somehwere but my house seriously isn't that big and I've looked everywhere :hissyfit: So i need new shoes :yeahright:

Sparkly
02-03-2011, 09:08am
Samba I love those jeans - which style are they?

Kat what a shame about your Ash wedges, though you're wise to return if they're not perfect  - you'll find something else amazing. Maybe your burglars fancied the clogs?

Samba
02-03-2011, 09:53am
marathon KK? :yeahright: shame about your order - esp the shoes - but just think of the ££ you've 'saved'. you can be sure your clogs will turn up once you've bought something else though

sparkly the jeans are called boy fit (http://www.gap.eu/browse/category.do?cid=57396). I think there's a 30% instore code just now (I got a couple of discounts on them too). They aren't a perfect fit, but good enough - they seem to have improved the waist fit so they don't gape as much as some gap jeans used to.

Kat, the stripy blazer would be lovely on somebody slim, it just didn't work on my shape :happyno:

Like that Blazer Deets? How long? How much?

It's a good length for a normal height person (ie a shortarse of around 5ft7 :teehee:) - a little bit shorter than I'd like for me (6ft) but I might be able to overlook that as it's a beautiful jacket - really nicely lined and a nice thick fabric. It was £48.75 (25% off RRP £65) and I got an extra 10% off with my Debenhams card. I'm really hoping I can make it work with a longline tee underneath. Although still waiting for the LTS neutral blazer which may be a winner instead.

PS ERRR a MARATHON kat? Yer what?

weeeeeeeeeeell it IS a marathon but as I'm walking it and it's called the Moonwalk and not The London Marathon, you'd be surprised at how people go, - oh right, that - when you say you're doing a marathon :hissyfit: I'm hauling my sorry arse round 26 and a bit chuffing miles AND AND AND I'm doing it in the middle of the night :hissyfit:

I did 10 miles at the weekend (hungover on Sun morning ) and actually I was surprised at how fit I apparently am. Even more surprised were the girls I'm doing it with. They're all runners and cyclists (nutters) and I was the only one who a) didn't hurt on the way round and b) didn't ache the next day :teehee: To be fair, I am 5 inches taller than the other girls, so, as I pointed out, they did actually walk double the distance I did  But I will admit I feel a lot more confident than I did before! It's not till May as well!

oh please please will people stop teasing us about the Next preview  I so so want to order Dita's top! And can't wait to see if there are any more lower wedges. I've ordered the gladiator wedges from there, the really high ones :shoot: but they're on a 6 week delay.

Dita - shouldn't your LTS blazer be here yet? So hope it works for you honey, I know how much you've got riding on it! But at least you've now got a good back up.

Minky, did your Boden jeans arrive yet? There were some really lovely vintage looking ones in there that I was thinking about ordering, a colour I don't think I have jeans in.... I've just no idea how they'd fit me. Plus I need a kickarse code. Is 15% the best going? I ordered M some shorts with my voucher

Katoid :woohoo: for Friday!! How fabulous does that sound?? :faint: I shall be tramping round a park :shoot:

My Boden jeans did indeed arrive and I sent the feckers straight back, the same day. Yawnsvillarama , just really boring , AND too big, which I was a bit :woohoo: about but actually they are coming up big this year apparently. I'd say bargepole territory... I have seen some on the Mango website so if I can get my sorry ass into Westfield I'll check them out .

Good for YOU for doing the Moonwalk . Though how are you going to decorate a bra when you don't wear one? :teehee: :laff: I think it will be a fabulous challenge though I have to say I am  at you doing it in the middle of the night  :thumb: :first: WELL DONE!

I've had to order 32" legs instead of the 34" I have in the jeans, but I'm kidding myself if I think I'm tall enough to actually need the 34" so fingers crossed the shorter length will be ok.

Quick update on my River Island and Next orders.

The navy all in one, I actually didn't mind the fabric although I know KK hated it, but the cut is awful on me :meh: Looked like a babygrow on me!

The black and polka dot palazzo trousers are lovely, perfect in fact and I'm keeping them. Will be so nice for summer workwear. The black ones are also great but I prefer the polka dot.

The grey and white maxi is also really really nice but I need a smaller size so need to change that.

The Next pastel block colour dress is also great. I'm really pleased with it and again I'l get lots of wear out of it for work in the summer. The dusty pink blouse (snigger) went back as I didn't absolutely love it - was still nice though.

Love all your purchases Shiny :thumb:

Great bargain on the dress, Laura

oh darling that's so so sweet thank you and yes I will indeed! Training is interesting :brainache: But I have to say I'm loving all the outdoor exercise - we're so lucky that we have a huge National Trust Park at the end of our road so it's really no hardship to go and do long walks there.

How fab exactly are those jeans? i promise you, you will LOVE the khaki ones. I actually think they're a better fit on me than the distressed jeans :faint: I was eyeing up the grey ones again today despite having tried them on literally about 10 times and KNOWING that they're too low cut for me :shoot:  I did try on a pair of grey skinny Day Birger et Mikkelson ones in the sale which were bargainous at £35 (70% off) and I think I should just get them and forget the other ones. The DBM ones are actually a much better fit but are completely plain. oh I think i'll just go and get them tomorow. (nothing like talking about loud is there? :loco: Only half a glass of wine down as well )

Ah you see I see them being as dressy or undressy as each other (or is that just in my dreams :teehee:) Just to be completely pedantic I really did want one I could dress up or dress down

Fair play on the Moonwalk btw my sister did it last year and it sounds bloody hard! I'm chuffed with myself that I'm doing Race for Life this year, let alone anything longer/harder

Hello all - thought I'd try and join this thread, although not sure I'll be able to keep up with you all.

Some gorgeous, gorgeous things here with special mentions for Joanne62's kimono - lovely and Shiny's BMB sale cardie and fab All Saints scarf.

I've just ordered these from Warehouse:

I love this, but as I'm rather curvy I think I'm probably deluding myself that'll work for me. And this:

Very pretty cuff Pancs and Zwinnie I love that first dress - looks much more high end than high street :thumb:

I had a lovely morning in town with my big girl yesterday followed by lunch and a manicure. She was so good love her that I rewarded her with a frock from Joules (which I wouldn't have minded for myself!)

I also checked out lots of things and bought:

* white and metal Miu Miu rip off sunnies from Primark for £3.00 - I really can't justify the Miu Miu ones for what are essentially occasion sunnies so these are great

* building up my colour blocking wardrobe as cheaply and simply as possible  lots of basic crew neck fitted tees from Primark, M&S and Zara in white, nude, hot pink, purple, apple green and grey

* two oversized thin v-neck tees to wear with chinos and skinny cargos once the weather is warmer - Zara

* bright pink lipgloss (Revon I think) which is super flattering on my more mature face :flirt:

And then as my night out was cancelled as Am burt her foot  I ordered this:

and these to wear with palazzo pants and my 50s dresses/skirts in the summer for work:

oooh Dita, I love the Hobbs cardie/blazer - looks perfect for SS. And ED, loving that stripey dress - colour blocking and stripes - two for the price of one! The way you're planning on wearing it sounds gorge.

Really need to get my shoe situation sorted out for spring - can't for the life of me remember what I wore last year - a couple of pairs of havs I think. Don't remember buying many new shoes at all, great excuse for this year then!

Toosh, sounds like you're v. organised. Can't see your shoes, but love your bag. Need to actually get myself to some shops, rather than buying everything online. Just can't face the thought of dragging Otis round in his buggy.

Lovely buys everyone! Especially loving Toosh's blue bag- where is it from please? I think I saw a post from you elsewhere with them in lots of colours? ED, loving your belt. I wish I could do colour blocking, I look cack in brights, and don't really have the confidence.

Deets, I love your Hobbs buys. Especially the cuff. I forgot to say in Feb that I ordered the bee necklace with the Spring code, and I love it. Picked it up from
store on Fri and wore it to bingo on Friday night (preschool thingy, not Gala!).

I have decided that I am giving up shopping for Lent, so I've got to get any spends in before the end of Tues! I am thinking I might need to sheep you on the cuff dita, if I can get the code to work a second time.

The bag is ASOS lovely but I didn't see yellow :meh: Will keep my eye out though. Blue isn't really me either but I figured I needed something other than reds, pinks and purples (which I have lots of) to clash it with IYSWIM.

Sparkly, I'm 5'8" and reguarly do 5 inch heels :thumb: How tall you?

Sarah, go for it! If you team the brights with something neutral they're really easy to wear I find.

Lomie  at your new Plumo addiction  It's gorgeous isn't it. Over the years I have some completely lovely stuff from there. Normally get one new delicious thing a season from there. I do love the fact that you can leaf through and see something you love and then you get that little thrill of looking at the price. As sometimes it's £45 and othertimes - errr well yes, its £269  They've got all the shoes on ASOS as well (they're Chi Mihara - sp ones) so if you love them it's worth keeping an eye out for super codes or reductions!

cheers for the tips K, I am a bit pissed off with Boden actually, I specifically said on my delivery instructions NOT to drop it off at my next door neighbour as he is a nosy gossip and I hate feeling beholden to him for taking in my parcels and they've only gone and delivered them there-I dont want to go and get them now!!! I had to send back all of my RI order too which is very unlike me, real life shopping only for awhile I think, I just havent had a chance yet with work.-I have lost one of my uggs so I am also wondering where shoes go when they get lost in your house? Katkinn, I prefer the first non-striped cardigan. But that's from a practical POV of owning way too many stripy things which always seem to clash!
Pancs, you look hawt in that dress. I am really into colourful dresses right now. Ditto to ED, that dress is gorgeous. It reminds me of the one Haillee Steinfeld wore at an awards ceremony recently... embarrassingly seeing as she's about 14 she was definitely one of my favourite dressers on the red carpets this year

http://www.jaeger.co.uk/images/products/610037A09700/610037A09700-cutout-4x3.jpg I guess it doesn't strictly belong on the WHYB thread, as I haven't yet bought it, but OMG I want it! :laff:

Anyone care to enable me? They said there was 20% off the new collection which makes it quite reasonable for Jaeger.

ETA Dita, I looked for your cuff :lurve: but they didn't have it. Willow, lovely buys, spesh your jeans and cargoes , really lovely.

Minky, I love those trousers :lurve:, remind me of a pair of my absolute favourites I had from Hobbs many years ago. Sadly they don't suit my shape now (small waist, big thighs :-()

Managed to buy this bag in the M&S sale today:

I saw it a couple of weeks ago but thought I'd wait to see if a new discount code became available before ordering and blow me it was reduced by 50% in the sale today :ellie: I just  it arrives as they do have a tendency to cancel orders from the sale.

I have bought the BMB biker jeans in grey  well TBF I have worn my ASOS ones to death and they need replacing.. and I also bought a grey tee but it has vanished from the site now.. am also toying with this

But not sure if it would be grim IRL  I am thinking to wear with super skinnies, blazer and high heels for evenings - but it might look like a sack on me over my boobs.. great neckline for me though, also it isn't very SS and I don't really want to be buying anything that isn't IYKWIM?

Lovely ebay wins girls, and Joanne I love that John Lewis dress, gorgeous!

Just reporting back that my Uniqlo cargoes and chinos were winners. Really great fitting skinny cargoes, just the perfect level of skinniness to still be comfortable, I think I might wear them tomorrow. The chinos are a little bit big (even in the 6!), but they *are* boyfriend style, and they aren't actually falling down, so I think they will be fine. Plus they say do not tumble dry, I bet I can manage to shrink them a bit if I do!

Hopefully you won't see me until the end of next month now! I might need to not even look at the thread to avoid temptation, so happy shopping in my absence everyone!

Willow those Paige jeans are gorgeous! Sparkly for a more reasonably priced pair do have a look at the JEssie I think it is, jeans in TS. FAbulous. Very very similar. I actually am going to get some next week I think :lust: And a fraction of the cost!

Katoid so hope you like the grey ones. I was between sizes and they gave me The worst muffin top  (that's me not the jeans btw - they were just a fraction lower cut than the blue ones on me and just wouldn't have worked :-() I think you'll get a ton of wear out of that sequin top. Perfect for the next couple of months when it's too warm for a full on blazer but not warm enough for short sleeves :meh: Would look FAB with the grey jeans as well! Killer heels :lust: I'd also wear it over white skinnies and killer heels - would be fab for a lovely dinner out or a dinner party or anything really. And a great staple to have in your wardrobe for those Christmas nights out  Even a great Christmas dinner top. You know you always have something but you don't want to buy something new..... Or you're going out with the same group of friends for 3 or 4 different things in a matter of weeks (or is that just me ) Sequins at Christmas never date imho! How bargainous is it? I do Not need one but as you can see I've thought about the sequin matter rather a lot before justifying my purchase of the Jaeger sequin jacket

Jayne fab trousers - really hope one of them suits. Dita, I've given up finding Gigi stylees that are for the longer leg. I honestly think with a cropped flare it's so easy to look like you're wearing kids trousers :loco:  But I can see how it must be just as irritating with them being too long - v difficult to hem :meh:

Joanne lovely dress - I just LOVE it when something like that happens :ellie: And yes, I can so see it on you too Toosh!!

Peony and Noo noo great ebay bargains for you both! Hope they live up to expectation irl!!

Donna I adore that scarf from Marks. I always get v lovely compliments on it!

sarahR YAY for your purchases!! I can never remember if you have a bum or not? I soooo love the look of the chinos on people but I do honestly think I'm going to have give them up. I need a good trying on session in uniqlo I think. And best of luck with Lent! You do know that it doesn't include Sundays, don't you?

Oana I freaking LOVE that necklace from DPs. Oh my god it looks so so so much more expensive! I'm so checking that out tomorrow and may well be sheeping you on that. Would be perfect for the summer  Fab fab find.

I bought some grey skinny jeans from Day Birger et Mikkelson this am. Bargainous at £28 down from £130 :ellie: Lovely fit and shall be wearing them tomorrow I think  Really really pleased. Lovely charcoal colour rather than a dove grey which I've been looking for for ages. Will pap them on for the WAYWT thread.

I also went yesterday to pick up the sandals from Kurt Geiger than I had ordered. :yeahright: oh my heavens. Bad doesn't even go there. Suffice to say I returned them immediately. And on the upside, discovered that they refunded me £75 when I only paid £60 for them :ellie: I thought I had paid 20% less but wasn't sure as there was no price on the invoice and so assumed that maybe I had paid full amount. Checked my emails when I got home and nope, I had paid £60 :woohoo:

Oh gorgeous necklace Oana - just love that!

Fab bargain on the grey skinnies Kat & thanks for the Jessie rec - I haven't seen those ones before.

I also ordered the M&S green camo scarf, but saw it in-store today and not sure if it's me - think the colours may be too bright for me. Plus I've seen the most gorgeous greeny sort of splodgey leopard-ish scarf in Benetton which I really want. It's a really deep rich green with splodges of fuschia, yellow, blue etc in a sort of abstract leopard design. Really selling it aren't I? Can't find pic online... they had loads of really lovely things in Benetton actually - gorge jersey stuff, printed tees, dresses etc - could have spent a bomb.

I did buy another feather print scarf in M&S Limited Collection which I love. Similar to a warmer version I had from H&M last year. Naturally it looks shit here... http://www.marksandspencer.com/Limited-Collection-Feather-Print-Lightweight/dp/B004450QS8

Loving everyone's buys - Carrington, that scarf is gorgeous.

Kat, you've really made me chuckle with your sequin essay - an Ode to Sequins.

Well, my Jarlo dress arrived and just doesn't quite work for me - the elasticated bit sits at the wrong point of me and gives me more curve than I'd like, which to be fair, is probably me as much as the dress  so it's going back.

KK, wrt the Uniqlo chinos, I don't have much of a bum no (maybe a bit more than you though), and they do flatten what I do have. I have a feeling that this particular style are probably not you, they are a bit too boyfriendy I think. But if you are going for a trying on session give them a try.

They are the same size as my blue ones so v bizarre but argh, boo  Great bargain on your jeans :thumb: I agree with your thoughts on the sequin top, thanks love, I think it is a goer - thanks to Sparks and Dita too for all your enabling ladies  eta stupidly it is now gone in my size  that serves me right for being indecisive! I bet I now spend an age looking for something similar :lol: oh and yes I can see that you have put a lot of thought in to the sequins, hee hee - but def v v good arguements there :)

Some great jeans purchases all, am v intrigued to see everyone plans to wear their cropped flares, I can't seem to get my head around them somehow :brainache::oops:

Katoid :spank: you snooze, you lose. Bloody lurkers  :teehee: Ah, it wasn't meant to be, you can get something lovely for SS instead. Shame about the jeans, though.

Cheetara, I love the blue dress, really pretty.

Cute pumps, SS.

I got another email from Boden today and all of a sudden I remembered asking on here for a 20% off code as there was something I'd wanted to order. Couldn't actually remember what it was  but went to the site and it came back to me

So annoyed today - my LTS order was rescheduled to be delivered today and the delivery guy came at the exact time he came at yesterday when there was nobody here :hissyfit: DH is going to pick it up from the depot tomorrow - I've waited TWO MONTHS for this order

LOve those sandals Deets, I have never had anything from Boden before. Didnt someone else order those early on in the season? Maybe Cymber? I might give them a try I really like them, would look good with all the black stuff I still manage to wear all summer!

Love those boots as well Mrs SC, do you have them in brown too or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?

Cute cute cute shoes SS :lurve: What fabric are they?

They're both leather Kat....I was surprised they were at that price to be honest (£28 and £30).

Sparks the jeans are the Leigh ones, not sure if they do them in non-mat? They're a really lightweight soft, stretchy fabric....hopefully will be as comfy as they appear to be :fingerscrossed:

Goi g back about 10 pages so am SURE I'll miss some out

Gorgeous cuffs Dita, I am so torn between the Hobbs ones and the Lily and Lionel one I posted a thread about.

Beautiful dress Joanne, and  for it comi g back in stock - really feels likr it was meant to be!

Great news on the cargoes Sarah, I am on Oxford st to meet friends on Sunday so would be rude not to fit a bit of shopping in - will give those a try. KK I have a long flat bum iyswim, so not sure the boyfriend style would work properly on me either - def want some cargo skinnies though. My H&M ones are a cross between the two Uniqlo styles I think.

Minks, I really like those navy trousers from Mango, i never think of looking in there, but they're lovely :nod

Those Jessie jeans that no one has actually bought yet , look brilliant. I def fancy trying cropped flares out this summer. Planning on wearing indigo ones with a fitted jersey tank vest and ballet flats with either a scarf or big necklace. Looks :thumb: in my head anyway

Cute pumps SS, so remember these last few weeks of being desperate to be back in normal clothes again :higgies:

Not much from me recently, just a couple of basic nude pink tops from Great Plains (randomly there's a concession at our local garden centre.....went for bird food, came home with 2 tops  ). Quite dull, but the exact shell pink shade I have been looking for :thumb:, want them to wear with my pink Plumo scarf amongst other things.

Thats probably where I have seen them then, Im getting everyone confused all over the place today! I realllllllly love them, dont think I can spend that much on a sandal though, Im not big on summer footwear! 20% plus 5% quidco is the best I can hope for I suppose though. Ohhhh what to do!!!!

ditab
09-03-2011, 10:25pm
I don't usually spend that much on sandals either - but then I usually only buy them at Next because of sizing issues. The review of these ones says that they come up wide so I'm hoping that they fit and that the zip at the back isn't weird. I can just about justify them as they're quite statementy, you know?

But, otoh, if they don't fit, that's £60 back on the card

You could try waiting until the sales but I just find their sales are a bit crap, really. They only tend to take 30% off the really nice bits - and then you can't use free delivery codes. Plus, you have to wait until the end of the season. So, as you say, 20% plus Quidco isn't a bad deal...

loving the Jessie cropped jeans, might give them a go if the asos ones I ordered don`t work out but I must stop shopping.

Navy butterfly Print Jersey dress - cute but boring although very usefull for work with nude or coloured shoes

Ombre Spot Skirt from the sale - should work with basic Ts & cardis for the summer.

I also ordered a couple of basic cotton work shirts to layer under knits for the spring.

That skirt is really pretty Jane.

dazedandconfused there have been a few threads on jackets and blazers recently, why not have a look at those or start a separate thread about it? Posts can get lost on the WYHB thread amongst all the purchases.

My By Malene Birger order has arrived and I absolutely love the vest top and the cardigan, such amazing quality. The khaki skinnies are great to, although not quite as fabulous as the jeans. If I didn't already have the jeans I'd be raving about how these were the best trousers I've ever had so they are still keepers

Day Birger sent me a new arrivals email this morning only for me to find the dress I liked on it is already out of stock in my size (or not arrived yet, I've emailed them to find out which) which led me to Google all their online stockists to try and track it down which led me to buy this which wasn't what I was looking for but is still fab :oops:
http://www.wild-swans.com/images/shop/large/day-birger-dress-buy-online-be1-large.jpg

I'm ready to switch from my winter uniform of full skirts and long boots to my spring/summer uniform of skinnies with long tops and dresses so I think the purchase is completel justified, especially as I sent back my All Saints kaftan for being drab :yuck:

Bought these from ASOS (http://www.asos.com)...

Straw trilby hat.

Maxi skirt, in charcoal.

Sheer maxi dress, in black.

Can't wait for spring/summer to justify wearing the hat! The skirt will be great for when it is just starting to get warm, & the dress, that's more for evening wear.

Very pleased with my purchases!

Sparkly love you won't find BMB in HofF, they only sell DBM (as far as I'm aware anyway - certainly over here anyway) But yes, do have a squizz online. Also worth checking out local retailers who may have some left on the sale rail

dazedandconfused I agree with Sparkly - that skirt in the khaki is gorgeous. I may well have to look at that, that would fit beautifully into my S/S wardrobe! Good buy!

Shiny so pleased you love your BMB bits! I think I do actually prefer the khaki ones. They're just the best fit on me. However I also tried them on in the BMB store where they have them in a tobacco and a white (the tobacco was a bit of a :meh: colour and the white was positively hideous as the zips were dark. Seriously 80's!) And they were a totally different cut :shoot:

And Katoid I'm so so so sorry I thought i'd mentioned that the sizing on the grey ones was buggered. You needed to order two sizes bigger. So the 29 fitted me ok, but they were a couple of inches lower cut which meant they were barfalicious on my muffin! However I have been v pleasantly surprised with the DBM skinnies - I got the grey ones. They're only a 32 inch leg so not as good as the 34 inch BMB ones but for £28 they'll do!!

Ok my haul from Primark today :ellie:

Shame about the blazer Dita, I made a New Look order specifically for a blazer and the rest to make up to free delivery mostly and when I got the dispatch note the binking thing was OOS

However I have ended up keeping:

Love the Primark bargains, especially the kaftan. I've been looking for one like that for next week but I don't have the time/energy/patience to trek in to Birmingham to hunt for you.

I did find the time/energy/patience to track down the DBM dress. It had better be worth it as I've had to order it from the Netherlands and I'm slightly concerned that a) it's going to arrive whilst I'm away and go AWOL b) it's going to be a disappointment of the same magnitude as Dita's blazer or c) it will appear on MW, NAP and every other UK site tomorrow morning.

Anyway, this is what all the fuss was about. It doesn't look much in this pic but there are some lovely (but too huge to post) pics of it on models and the draping is gorgeous

Shiny definitely worth tracking down the kaftan. I'm trying to find a couple of cheapo ones for my stash as if it's nice weather this summer we'll spend so much time round a pool and I bored myself senseless with the solitary one I had last summer! Every week for months, I think I can justify a couple more from primark et al!!

Lovely lovely top from DBM. Hope it's as lovely irl. I do find with BMB that they drip feed their collections a couple of pieces a week and then have a high summer drop as well so you may find it's instore and online soon.
