As seen in Boden...
http://www.boden.co.uk/productimages/productThumb160x207/11BSPR_26044_BLU.jpg
at £28.
Anyone seen similar but cheaper?
It's for an 8 year old, so poncho towels are out (unless really big I guess).
Here's one for £19.99
http://www.beachfactory.com/catalog.php?item=1496&catid=Towelling%20Tops
I'll keep looking though.. I am on the wind down to the end of the day and can't be bothered to start anything new.
Or this one starts at £12.99..
http://www.bombura.com/unisex-changing-robes/charcoal-original-unisex-changing-robe.html
Says: XS is for approx age 2-4
S is 5-8
M is 9 to teen
Or you can get large hooded towels here for about £14
http://www.drippinwetswimwear.co.uk/tops.html
Says that a large will cover a child from 7 to 16.
Or... this is £20

Well in that case, I have a 10,000 word disi, 2 x 2,500 word essays, a presentation and another 2,000 word case study to write by mid May. I'll keep you readily supplied with tea and biscuits!!
Mmm.. tempting (of course), but I'm not that good with words. Give me code and data any day!

I think the Boots ones might not go up to big enough sizes, Blonde Girl was on the hunt recently.
I think I can squeeze my DS into last years stripey one, but I really love the Boden stars, I am itching to buy one!

I bought a ds a mahoosive poncho from http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Poncho-Towel-Towcho-Purple-Bath-Beach-Pool-New-/110558498468?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Bathroom_Towels_PP&hash=item19bdcccea4 Up to 10 years.
It was about £6 delivered, I think they do other designs etc.

Ooh that might work, although I do quite like the idea of a long top thing.

Just bumping this because John Lewis do have a boys one IRL, it is blue with orange stars (I think, it could be the reverse). A poncho towel style. Cymber, if you wanted I could pick you one up if you don't live near a JL.
I noticed that the Boden ones (with the exception of the stripes) have reviews mentioning poor fabric and more velour than towelling this year, so giving them a miss I think.

Cymber, I've seen quite a few in TK Maxx if you're near one... didn't check sizing but they're this shape, but in navy with white stars & around £6.99.

They only go up to age 6 :happyno: I wanted one for D so I double checked with boots and they told me their clothes only go up to age 6 still even with their new range.
Next only do girls
I've ordered the stripy boden one as that got good reviews rather than the sharks one.
Used a £10 voucher they sent me plus a 15% code, still worked out about £20 each though! I have got them in massive sizes so they should get a couple of years wear :fingerscrossed:
I got some fabulous cheapy ones for Emma from Dunelm Mill years ago, and am now desperate to get some for Matty (naturally Dunelm Mill don't have them any more!), so thanks for this thread! :thumb:

I've just ordered a Thomas one and a Chuggington one for DS!
