I'm looking to earn some money, but I want to do something that I can do from home to fit around the boys, I've read before about virtual assistants and this would seem ideal for me - I dont need or want to earn lots of money, but could do with an extra income to furnish the new house

Any help would be much appreciated

You are based at home and work on the client's behalf as if you were in their office. It could be that you answer their phones, manage their diary, answer their emails, do their typing etc. Just like a normal PA but not actually in the office as such.

Hi all. I am a virtual assistant, but i don't work for my own business (would love to one day though :) ). Instead, I work for a virtual assistant company http://www.alldaypa.com/virtual-receptionist and answer calls, type documents, dictation, etc. It is a nice way to gain some experience before hopefully going it alone one day. This may be an idea for some of you ?
