Em has been a bit odd today. At the soft play centre she just wanted to cuddle or leave (going to the door, waving) she got really whingey biting her hand, so I gave her 5ml paracetomol, then we went to pick up some lunch. We were visiting our friend with a newborn baby and I was taking her a MD's, so I got Em a happy meal - she refused the chips  had a bit of my chicken sandwich and that was about it. then she was a bit sick on the sofa  so we came home. This afternoon she's been OK But a bit off. she is reading her books, but I tried giving her veggie lasagne, she refused it (nothing new there), so I chopped up some tomato, grated some cheese & gave her a few breadsticks and she refused the cheese  she has never refused cheese, I don't know what's wrong.
sorry, just wanted to waffle. I need to read to her now

I think the bugs are doing the rounds again. Lucy isn't very well atm, she has a runny bum today and yesterday and today she has a sore throat (as do i) and just hasn't been herself today. She hasn't slept ALL day today and was up at 5am  she is STILL awake now reading her books sat next to me :) She hasn't eaten a thing all day either, well apart from 1/2 a bowl of cheerios this morning, she has had 3 cups of milk though
Dh has come home from work early this afternoon and has said he feels rotten and he's just gone to bed, must admit he looks like death warmed up!
I'm sure its nothing serious, obviously keep an eye on her temp etc.
Hope she gets better soon.

Yes I agree with Katy - loads of bugs around at the moment. We have had just one after the other for over a month now.
It might be a cold or this sickness bug either way D was off his food well and truly (funny how they always manage Cheerios though isn't it Katy? :laff: Mine too)
He always wants to be cuddled if he is coming down with something too.
Alternatively it could be teeth which is why she won't eat - her mouth could be sore.
Either way as Mrs D says (and as you probably know :wik: ) keep an eye on the temp, if it goes up do the Calpol thing and I find a wet cloth on the head brings the temp down well too.
I hope she's alright, the poppet, and I hope you don't get too rough a night either Cheeky.
Oh and hope Lucy feels better too Katy.

Well she slept really well last night and has been fine for her Grandma today and actually eaten! So that's good.
MMM - thanks for the advice! You make me sound like a wise old mum who doesn't need it, but it is very welcome :)
