I'm waiting on these (http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Carvela+Sing+court+shoes/142717385,default,pd.html?cgid=S319) from HoF for my fruitless nude shoe search.
I asked on the other thread, does anyone know if Aldo do free returns, I might order a couple of pairs from there if so. I am nowhere near a store.

OK on the Aldo returns issue http://www.aldoshoes.com/uk/return-policy is VERY CONFUSING. It says "free returns by courier" and then says take them to the post office! It just says "dropping the items" not that you have to pay for them but I've been stung with return postage before, anyone ordered from them recently :help:

L66ty so pleased you got some boots you love and Dr Spouse, hope yours live up to your expectation! It's so awful to want something but not be able to find it.
Chocolate Lips, shopping up a storm  Love the last little black belted dress - very classic. Will be something you'll have for ages - really easy to drag out for so so many occasions. Love dresses like that! And super cute shoes.
Nicki - hope your Toast things live up to your expectations. Fab fab bargains as the quality (ime) is just fantastic. You can almost see how they can justify their original prices actually, unlike quite a few HS places :yeahright: Particularly love the tartan dress. They're all so so you though
donna - hope your stuff is fab. That cardigan is a completely bargain!
Bluestar really lovely little colour palette you've got going on there. All should be really useful for mixing and matching and taking you through Spring :ellie:
Good going for Day One girls!
Oh CL, I just :lurve: those Union jack shoes .
I have a tulle skirt very similar to that, it's been such a good buy .
Also love that last dress in particular. Good haul!
Nicki, nice dresses, spesh love the plain black one.
Donna, bargain of the YEAR with that cashmere cardi, really lovely :thumb:

Well my boots arrived (ridiculously large packaging), they are definitely marmite. They are super comfy surprisingly, but the heels are higher than I'm used to and they are also ever so dark, hence emphasising the heels rather than the boots. So they are going back (in their stupidly large box, which I posted a photo of on FB cos I'm sad).

I'm not buying this month but did accidentally pick up a jumpsuit from Next yesterday:
http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/casualwear/49/3?extra=sch&n=women&pid=996-840&returnurl=%2fsearch%2fsearch%3fp%3dQ%26lbc%3dnext% 26uid%3d199187717%26ts%3dv8%26w%3djumpsuit%26af%3d %26method%3dand%26filter%3dsubset%253a4201%26nxtv% 3d0%26nxti%3d0%23996%2d840&bct=%26quot%3bJumpsuit%26quot%3b
Which I think I *might* wear out on Saturday night - I'm out for a friend's birthday and I've not been out with this crowd before and apparently they get quite dressed up so thought this might fit the bill - I'm just worried about being cold as its quite thin and, obviously , strapless... I'm so used to smart casual London dress that dressing up for a night out stumps me!!!
Oh, and I got these in a 6 which are a tiny bit too big so I'm hoping they have some half sizes in stock when I take then back at lunch...

Thanks hon, that was what I was thinking - it will be good for nights out but also can be dressed down for summer day events! The thing that sold it for me was the wide legs, all the ones I saw last summer had hareem bottoms which really don't suit my chunky legs!!!

I'm sure Dita got (or did and returned maybe - who can keep up? :teehee:) those shoes. Gorgeous colour.
Holly they are in a similar vein to mine although at the same time very different. Oh Lomie :higgies: Can you not find them at full price anymore? If it's any consolation, they do actually say Limited Edition on the Ash label. Very different from my other Ash hi tops.

Plus an exciting sports bra and two thrilling fleece tops for running. Sorry for tiny images, can't work out how to get bigger ones off their sites. Why don't retailers realise how important web forums are in their marketing???!
Supposed to arrive Sat (got a free delivery code for nominated day over £150 FREENDAY).
Apparently my final two pairs of Next shoes, which require a signature, have been left by my greenhouse. I can only assume that the bay tree signed for them.

Love all of these :lurve:
that swallow scarf is gorgeous, I keep eyeing it up, but I'm just far too messy to even contemplate it :teehee:
Awesome top Jobey!
I bought this bag from Primark. (Too lazy to take a pic so cropped this one originally from http://schoee.blogspot.com/)

That is lovely :lurve: I wish we had a Primark near me :meh:

I got this scarf from Debenhams for £6, I'd been eyeing it up for a while, I really like it

Whoa Deets you is brave! Tres glam - will be amazing against your lovely dark hair. :flirt:
Weeeellll, am I last to receive my Toast tunic? Hmmm.... must admit my first reaction was that it looks a bit BHS
Pros:
Looks nice from the front
Quality is really lovely
Bit darker than looks online - true bone rather than cream
Olive stripe matches my trousers exactly (happened to be wearing when it arrived)
Glad I didn't size down as needed my usual size for hips/bum
Cons:
I'd prefer it a bit more fitted, esp the arms and back
Lots of fabric at back of waist/upper body, which isn't hugely flattering imo.
Verdict: Keep! Mainly as the quality is truly exceptional imo. I'm just not used to wearing loose fit things, so need to get my head around that! And it will be nice as a hidey top as Spands used to call them. Plus it looks nice with a skinny tan plaited belt around the upper waist, if the bagginess does do my head in.
Am actually wishing I'd ordered a couple more things to try, now that I know how lovely the quality is, but £4.95 p&p twice in one month - :happyno: !!
:dizzy:
And there endeth my thinking out loud process. :praise:

This thread is moving so fast, excellent work  Particular shout outs to CiL's satchel, Deets cream coat and rose gold jewellery and ED's stolen necklace.
My Plumo leopard jacket arrived and I love it :lurve: When I first opened the parcel I was a bit :ohno: as it wasn't as bold a print as I'd hoped, but the fabric is gorgeously soft and when I tried it on it looked fab and probably suited me more than a bolder print would have done.
I've ordered these two camisoles to layer with cardigans and my lace skirt for Spring. I had £40 of MW loyalty points to use so they were effectively buy one get one free :geek:

I'm a similar shape and find that with a lot of those shaped tops / tunics, they gape massively around the waist and back on me.

My tunic arrived too and I like it for all the reasons Sparkly said :) wish it was a bit tighter on the arms but on the whole I like it.
If anyone has a size 12 (or even a 10) in the greeny one that they're going to send back could you please let me know?

Oh, it was such a lame justification, though :shootme: :teehee: You should be getting commission as it's your pics that made me reeeeeeeeally want the scarf :thumb: tbh, I anticipate wearing it more with casual coats - it will be great with my parkas & stuff. If they've still got it in stock in your size, you could always return the original (you should get your original postage costs refunded as you're returning the whole order) and re-order along with some other bits :shh: Did you get a Free Returns sticker with your order? And hasn't it come down a bit in price since we ordered? I can really recommend the double faced t-shirt I ordered - it's lovely, a fab length for tallies :thumb: (although I suppose you're only average height at 5ft8  )
Yay on your jacket, Shiny, and fab MW bargains

Jobey cool vest. If it was £15 was it from their vintage section? I didn't think you could get anything At All in AS for £15! That's a fab buy.

Dr Spouse, love the first brogues you chose :lurve: Really really lovely. Do let me know if you wouldn't mind, what the leather is like? I'm looking for that buttery almost pigskin type leather iykwim!
CIL that briefcase is just bloody fantastic!

oh Dita that coat is just lovely lovely lovely. So much more stunning than the black (although I adored the olive :lurve:) But the winter white is just a total stunner. I have to say I agree with SS though and think you'll need to carry on scarf shopping. Crumpet must have something somewhere, no? :teehee: Actually have you seen the Lola Rose scarves? ED :teehee: at you buying R something and then keeping it! Having said that I was tempted to wear M's scarf tomorrow.
Pippin cute scarf and Donna what a total bummer on the sale things :-( I was looking at the dregs of the Phase Eight sale yesterday and there's still some stuff that only has a couple of quid off. Good buys, Lomster!
I'm in suit buying mode; my old one is really showing its decade and I'm sick of it anyway. I have a few in my sights on Ebay....but they all have ages to go, which is bad because I want to buy them NOW!
I've got these on a whim to go with a couple of purpley dresses I have.
http://www.schuh.co.uk/images/product/115201/1152013640_main.jpg
just one question - do you think they'll be ok with black/grey things too? I fancied a change from black boots & shoes & I haven't owned anything other than flats for years
I think it comes from wearing dresses for the whole of December(dressember) & realising I always had the same boots on & wanting to make one outfit look different with different shoes.
Nice parka, Lomie :thumb: and not quite as 'everywhere' as the RI one

I was surprised at the second order coming so fast, tbh. It arrived the next day :thumb: (although I didn't get a dispatch email for it). I don't know why your order is taking so long, though. It's annoying because the sale is now off the site so you can't check the stock levels. Give them a ring tomorrow
ETA My second coat wasn't a replacement. I placed a new order (and paid the HUGE delivery charge :faint:) and am awaiting a refund for the original
Figgy, I love those :lurve: They're HP Noellas aren't they? The red ones remind me SO much of a pair of shoes I had when I was 12 - I was so tempted to order them for old times' sake but I would never wear them now as they're not really my style. I do think they're lovely though.
Purple & grey go really well together and you could definitely wear them with black :thumb:

Great buys girls.
Shiny really pleased the plumo coat is a winner, it looks gorgeous. Bet you cant wait now Lomie
Deets, fab coat - i love winter white coats, I had a gorgeous LK Bennet one a few years ago that was just :lurve: only sold it when I gave up work as it was a bit big and I figured it didn't suit life as a SAHM :happyno:
Also love the little hairband
Figgy, those shoes are super cute, i would definitely wear those now with grey and black. Infact I think they would look gorgeous with light grey opaque tights
Lomie, I had a look at that parka as well, I want something a bit warmer for the school run, i have got an o'neill snowboarding one, but it's not exactly attractive :happyno:
Can't remember if I posted my verdict on the DP denim stuff...kept the skirt, it's lovely and perfectly 70s mum ish  (it even smells authentically 70's - eau de charity shop for some reason :loco:). Planning on wearing it with little t's and some NL tan 70s style sandals I bought last year.
The wide legs were :zombie: can't express why, but they just looked horrid. One pair was too big and one was too short - despite both allegedly being the same size
Also my Plumo dress has arrived  the quality is amazing, it feels lovely and expensive. You can see why it was £90 originally :faint:. I have tried it on quickly over the top I had on earlier and it certainly has potential to be a keeper  it's quite fitted - ok, tight  - though so I need to try it on over just a bra and jeans and make sure I am not too muffin top esque first  I really hope it looks good on, as off it is just :lurve:. Lovely and long too, I know I am short , but I would def be able to wear it as a dress. Although the fabric is v thick so not sure if I could wear it in the summer with bare legs as I think it might be a bit hot.s
Went shopping today and got a few bits, was meant to be meeting KK but she was poorly so me and the babies went shopping all alone :lol:

It's more a purply berry mix irl though, looks more red in the pic. Was only a fiver :thumb:
These 70s style wide legs, they are from DPs, but unlike the other ones I ordered they are :lurve: i really liked them with the breton I had on today actually.
DPs have obv been taking lessons from Marks actually as feck me they look MINGING in this pic, I promise they look much nicer on that they do here

Everything else is snoozerama actually, plain white tanks and hair clips, so not bothering to post them
Actually i did try on the TS tunic that someone (can't remember who sorry ) suggested as an alternative to the Toast one, but :happyno: it just did NOT suit my body shape at all, wasn't amazing impressed with the quality for £38 either....anyway, here's a pic of something I didn't buy :teehee:

BG - I ordered and returned that TS tunic for the very same reason - awful fitting, tight across the shoulders (where I'm small) and too big everywhere else. Very disappointing as I really liked how it looked. I think that if it was reduced to half price I'd buy it in a larger size and try taking it in down the sides from the bust, but it's very badly sized.

I will phone IO tomorrow as you say dita. When I checked last night the coat was oos in my size now, so it is possible that they won't have had one to send me. But it would be nice to know!
BG, your Plumo dress sounds lush! And I agree, the TS tunic doesn't do you any favours. It sounds really badly sized. I like the DP's scarf too, and the widelegs sound fab. Is Harlow any good for shopping? I'll come and meet you there one day if you fancy it ;-)?
Bluestar, I love that Boden scarf!
Blonde Girl, I have the DPs 70s denim skirt (both types of denim) here to return. I found it a really frumpy length on me. I had a ten in one shade, an eight in the other and both fitted fine. I then had a 10 on high waisted jeans that wouldn't pull over my hips. Weird sizing drives me bonkers.
All I have kept is this:
http://media.dorothyperkins.com/wcsstore/DorothyPerkins/images/catalog/75000017_thumb.jpg
I wouldn't have paid the full price for it.
BG lovely scarf , but yes, that TS tunic doesn't do you any favours at all. I utterly flipping LOVE those DP jeans though! :thumb:.

Cheeks, I can't see any boots :puzzled: but I love the top & jeans :lurve:
ETA I can see them now  They've had those in the window in Harrow for a few weeks, they're really lovely :thumb:
I think you're right, it must have been a one-off discount day as the necklace has certainly been in and out of my basket for a few weeks at full price. I even got an extra 10% off as there was a code on MSE :teehee:
Yay on the boots, Minky :thumb: They had some really, really nice bits reduced in the store, actually.
Blonde Girl I was wearing a breton with leopard scarf today too! I love the jeans you bought and I liked the TS dress too but I cant get on woith the pockets being the opposite way around, it looks nice on you though.
Mrs S-like those jeans too, I need a pair of flares!!

Fab boots and jeans Mrs SC. I don't think I've ever tried RI jeans, are they very low waisted?
Ohh you are missing out  They have soo many gorgeous jeans :lust: They are fairly low waisted (unless you buy a high waisted pair  )
Some I have from there goes up to belly button but most a lot lower than that.. I just LOVE all their vintage wash skinny jeans and I HAVE to have a paid of *dirty washed kind of beigey* white skinny jeans they have at the moment, they are SO beaut!!

Dr Spouse, love the first brogues you chose :lurve: Really really lovely. Do let me know if you wouldn't mind, what the leather is like?
I can't find my post now  as am on the phone but of the 2 pairs of brogues the light ones are synthetic so may go back, the 2-colour ones are leather.
My Next wedges arrived today
http://cdn.next.co.uk/COMMON/Items/Default/Default/Publications/X47/shotzoom/7366/935-005-X47s.jpg
I really like the colour and the heel, and they seem not too bad for falling off like a lot of shoes do on me but they aren't quite as good a fit as the Next Mary Janes that already arrived, so will wait for the Aldo ones to decide.

Can't remember if I posted my verdict on the DP denim stuff...kept the skirt, it's lovely and perfectly 70s mum ish :laff: (it even smells authentically 70's - eau de charity shop for some reason :loco:). Planning on wearing it with little t's and some NL tan 70s style sandals I bought last year.
Oh brilliant  thats just the sort of look I'm going for this summer too having not managed too last year :sigh: I've got those gorgeous tan clog sandals from Topshop that I didn't get much wear out of last year that will be fab with all the 70's stuff
I've got my NUS card now too so I can get my student discount
Seriously though I love that look and I might even try to get a little polo neck and wear it now
FAB buys everyone else too - Figgy those shoes :lurve: and Lomie fab

Minky the GP stuff is cheaper on Brandalley I think but there is not as much choice obviously.
I don't often post on here as I'm not really a fashiony type of person, wish I was, but budget dictates otherwise.
Anyway, just thought I'd share this little gem I got yesterday. It's for my MIL's 60th birthday party. Not sure how to put the picture in, but here (http://www.coast-stores.com/ARLENE-EMBROIDERED-FLORAL-DRESS/Garments/coast/fcp-product/2224686570?cm_mmc=linkshare-_-linkbuilder-_-linkbuilder-_-linkbuilder)is a link.
I got it in Debenhams for £49 reduced from £160. Most chuffed. It is a different colour though. Midnight blue with silvery-gold embroidery. Can't find it on the Debs site. I was a bit :puzzled: as to what to do with the belt, but the pic on the coast site makes it a lot clearer.
Not sure what to do about accessories, but have kind of promised DH I will use something I already have.

Hi, everyone.

That's a shame Lomie. I do really like mine but wasn't sure about the colour until I put it on, it wasn't what I expected but looked good on. The colour wouldn't suit everyone though, I think it's one of those shades that's very marmite.

Lomie I completely love that lace jacket - oh it's just gorgeous. I love love love lace with denim :lurve:
BG - I also tried that top on and (think I mentioned it on the last month's thread maybe? ) and it was comedy fit. And the Toast one ended up being cheaper :loco: And actually I prefer the olive and bone now - much more unusual. Gorgeous colours in the scarf though - really really really suit you :ellie: So pleased also that the Plumo dress is a winner.
Mrs SC - love all your RI buys. Lovely Spring starters. And yes, the boots are gorgeous! You so so live in London and not somewhere more errr muddy
Chell lovely little waistcoat.
Minky fab you got your boots and for a bargain!
Shiny bloody love those jeans - did you buy the second black pair (I'm assuming, not the top....)
Miffy that dress is completely beautiful and will suit you so so well. I'd go with big silver accessories personally - pearl would also be lovely. Tbh I don't think you need that much accessorising as the dress is such a statement on it's own :lurve: Perfect dress to have in your wardrobe, really timeless. Great buy!
ED bummer about the tunic but I never thought it was really you :happyno: Right did you get a free returns label? If not, it's worth calling them and saying that you didn't receive one. They don't usually give one but randomly they sometimes bung one in. Worth a go. And also send it back straight away (within 7 days anyway) and you'll get your postage refunded. They didn't do it to me immediately but I emailed them once they said they'd received the returns and would refund. Just got a very apologetic email asking me to call them with my card details and they'll refund postage :thumb:
Alabama and cool - fab haul girlies. Bloody hell, aren't we doing well for the 4 Feb :faint:

Bought two of these strappy tops from Bravissimo in the white and black. They have an integral built in bra and are just fantastic. Not cheap at £32 each though but I reckon I will get lots of wear from them both on their own and under stuff. The sizing was a bit odd. I'm either a 32GG or G in bras but for the best fit in these have gone for a 32F. Just wish they did them in other colours.
Also got 4 dresses in the Wallis sale for only £52! The most expensive one of them was originally £48. There's only one I can see on the website now. Thought it was quite Morrocan looking so would be good for my trip to Marrakesh! Will take a pic of the other 3 and my Primark haul!

I might have to do some summer surfing to cheer me up  Warning. Random threads coming up.

Well done on all the boots bargains girls!
Not sure what colour writing might be on them when they arrive! Not bought off the seller but good feedback and more importantly good feedback for the scarves. There are two sellers doing them BIN for £12.50 so thought it worth a punt. I've been on the look out for Katkinns blush one for a long time but most sellers don't offer them.
Picked up a long line black t with cross over bottom from Asda sale this morning too.

oohooohooohooh ED!! Although having said that, this year i've probably worn my ASOS buckle ones more :shoot: Mainly though I think as the jeans I used to love wearing the other boots with are totally buggered. What was a distressed patch and looked cool on the thigh has now turned into just a great chuffing hole and looks completely crap   The best fit jeans ever as well  Not sure what I can do with them though :meh:
Mrs Dunny lovely scarf - my friend bought one from Mulberry last year which is honestly pretty much identical to that :thumb:

I have enough stuff that she had first though, so am refraing from even looking
Really like Deets' Clarks bargain boots, might go and have a squizz at those. Am v glad now I didn't buy the same KG veronas I already have, ad i can justify another pair of tan boots instead.
I've got the moody red and black LV scarf and I do really like it, but feel and texture wise I actually prefer my zara leopard print one.

Fab buying everyone
Particularly love Peony's scarves and Irislillie's boots, ED's boots (absolutely love wedges :lurve: ) and Joanne's top
Well I went shopping today and was determined to come back with something I love so traipsed all over Bristol trying to find a knee length denim skirt. The DP's one did nothing for me and was a little too short - they didn't have it in tall. Nothing in Monsoon, Next, H&M, Topshop so went to Debenhams and found this in the old lady's section
http://debenhams.scene7.com/is/image/Debenhams/057010415245?$PSPMedium$
It is lovely and sits just below the knee :lurve: and was only £24 :woohoo:
Also bought this in Hobbs for £10 with my £25 card
http://www.hobbs.co.uk/images/products/0111-9267-1087T00-045/0111-9267-1087T00-045_01_191_204.jpg
Its very fitted and lovely heavy jersey too
I also bought Toosh's skirt from Primarni but they only had a smaller size left so I bought it with the aim of getting into it by the summer  It is so beautiful in real life I just couldn't leave it there :happyno: and again its not stupidly short either.
I was then looking for some tan shoes and tried these on in Next and they were perfect and so comfy but why the hell the white soles? I mean, honestly?? So has anyone seen anything similar but without the white soles?

I *might* have bought this in the green after lusting after other plumo scarves on here:
http://i54.tinypic.com/2zecmqd.jpg
I dithered b'cos although the grey would be more useful, I have bought so much grey/black recently that I felt like I needed more colour, it'll be ok if the green is a nice muted moss green as it is in the pic, but if it's any brighter it'll go back (and I'll prob order the grey and think 'why didn't I do that in the 1st place?!' :laff:)
And I *may* have bought this:

nooooooo the green is absolutely beautiful you must must keep it. Even if it's brighter, honestly it will look fabulous with grey and navy. Really gorgeous. OK, so all of the M&S order is going back, except the workout gear (how sad am I?). I have come to the conclusion that drapey cardigans/tops don't work in chunky knit, they just make you look huge. And the two dresses I ordered were like sacks :yuck:

from Next AND :spank:

from Aldo.
The brogues that someone was asking about - the plain ones which are synthetic were v. stiff and wouldn't soften up I know, and the 2-coloured ones were nice and actually quite soft but really didn't fill a hole in my shoe wardrobe (so I am good, honest).

OK, indulge me as I've just been through the thread from the start and had to comment on a few lovely things.
CL, I adore the 'Royal Wedding shoes', and all the other stuff. You have a really distinctive (in a good way) style going on there. And Figgy's purple shoes I also :lurve: So cute!
Also love CiL's bag and Shiny's ASOS flares (not sure they'd suit my stumpy legs though) and Pancs' leather trews (same goes for my legs there).
I went into town yesterday to pick up a knee support and ended up getting a couple of things.
Boots from Office - £30, reduced from £120. I can't find them on the website, but they're sort of like these:
http://www.office.co.uk/images/shoes/thumb/17204001_t1.jpg
but are calf rather than knee high, and they have a higher heel. I like how the straps mean I can tighten them to wear with tights/leggings or loosen for jeans.
Also, a few bits from Accessorize:

The ubiquitous Toast tunic  which I loved in the catalogue earlier in the season so jumped at it when it hit the boards.
Finally I made a decision about a satchel style weekend / casual bag, I just couldn't find a decent quality leather one which was quite right, despite having put some money on one side to treat myself, so I ended up going for a totally non leather one

Love the parka Scotsgal :thumb:
Strarbright, I really, really like that dress. Laurasaurus is wearing it on the WAYWT thread and it is gorgeous
I am sad to say the Plumo dress is going back :sigh: it is SUCH lovely quality, and a great colour (proper dark navy and cream), but it is just too long and too fitted (OK, tight ). I don't even think if I sized up it would be Ok as the fabric itself is too clingy. I am relatively slim, but in my mid-30s after several pregnancies I am rather lumpy and bumpy
Oh well, that's nearly 50 quid saved as I'll get the postage back I assume under DS regs.

Aah that's a shame BG, I thought it looked lovely, but it does look very clingy.
Was just about to ask a general question re getting the postage back. I'm relatively new to buying on tinternet, and so far the few bits I've bought I've kept, with the exception of the toast tunic. So can I claim postage back too? (sorry for dumb question).

I have bought my outfit to wear to a wedding
http://images.newlook.com/is/image/newlook/womens/dresses/day%20dresses/floral%20prom%20dress/211460209?$get_the_look$

with black tights.
What do you think? does it look ok? i'm normally in jeans and tee-shirt so need some reassurance!!

Vicarious buying, totally agree!
Especially things I'd never wear, that wouldn't suit/fit me.

Ever the person to be one season behind, I've just bought these black work boots this morning:
http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/shoesandboots/3/12
Clearly I can't get my head around the fact that I prob won't be in boots in a couple of months time, but at least I can tuck them away for next year! (and be even more unfashionable then! :teehee: )

Aw BG what a bummer about your dress :sigh: but hopefully you'll find something even better for the same £££.
Chickpea I love those boots!
Jelly I like both items separately but not sure that they would work together - would you post a pic? They are both quite casual imo, though the dress could be dressed up with a more formal shoe if you really love it.

BG - that is a shame about the dress but better you get something you'll love
Chickpea - you are so funny, those boots are lovely but don't tell me you're giving up "our" biker boots :faint:
I've just been looking on Next after seeing those boots of yours and now these are calling to me

TP - gawd NO I would NEVER give up on 'our' boots :teehee:
But I just wear them day in day out, and I feel I should probably get something else to wear so I can alternate them a bit. (DH will go MAD and say something like 'MORE boots????' But I live in them!)

I know what you mean, I've worn mine every day since I got them, which begs the question why didn't I buy them sooner
Thats why I'm checking out loafers and moccasins as I'm trying to stop wearing boots all the time
Jellybean, I agree with Sparkly. Both items are cute but they are quite casual
I'm playing the basket dance with the one and only thing I like from the new La Redoute catalogue, a maxi but I hate paying postage and can't find a code :toetap:

I really like this.

What is la redoute sizing like?
Nice LB :thumb: I usually find La R sizing to be on the generous side. I've ordered this as it is down to £38 but I don't think it's gonna be long enough  It says 135cm but doesn't say where it measures from

I love that :lurve: hopefully it will be long enough :fingerscrossed:
I will wait to payday to order the top
I've just seen this La Redoute code on HUKD - hope it helps! http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/15-off-20-spend-plus-free-delivery-la-redoute/867211
ETA - there are other codes on that thread too - like 2437 for 40% off entire order. I don't think I've ever paid full price for something on La Redoute!

Ooh I'd eyed that up too, might invest if it's cheap at the mo. I also liked a jacket, which I think was on the same page.

Me too Cymber (quelle surprise )
Buuut - Toosh, and I don't mean to pee on your chips but whilst it looks lovely in that pic I think the other pics put me off, I remember it looking a bit blah when I zoomed. Worth a try if it's cheaper than it's usual price.
jellybean, LOVE the shoes but not with that dress if I'm honest and definitely not for a wedding. Far too casual :meh: Sorry.
I've ordered a couple of bits but will wait to see how I find them before I post them all
These boots though:

Well my nine west boots have arrived and oh. my. word. I LOOOOOVE :lust: them :lust:
Can't wait to wear them tomorrow :dansin:
Have also ordered a ton of tankinis for my holiday in April :cheer: :woohoo: :sun: but will post pics if I'm keeping any.
I saw a gorge pair of chinos that I want to go back for in primmers today and also a lovely pair of khaki roll up shorts too. :sun::sun::sun:

Thanks for your opinions. What sort of dress would you get for a wedding? I have a budget of £30 for the dress. I'm really struggling to find an outfit.

What size are you? There are quite a few left in Oasis at under £30 but it depends on what size you are as stock is low.

I like your dress, Jellybean, I'd probably wear it with black tights and black shoes. Or there are some nice dresses £30 and under in the Warehouse sale. One of these?

Loved Toosh's Warehouse swallow blouse but funds won't allow.... so bought a similar shaped blouse (with the tie bit at the front) in New Look today... navy with colourful birds. Fiver off at the till too so £20.
http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/tall/birdy-tie-neck-blouse_213410749
I'm not sure that pic is even the same... sleeves are longer on mine and it has more scarfy bit round the neckline... hmmm. Similar anyway.
Also some black wedge boots. Cheap and cheerful. Did want leather in this shape but giving up searching and I'm not sure I want to pay more for something that I may not wear for many months.

You've just reminded me Bettie, I have that blouse since before Christmas and haven't worn it yet! must try it tucked into some jeans with my tan leather heel brogues. I think that there is a new version instore now which is swingier, bigger scarf like tie, and not sure if it has the 3/4 sleeves or not - so maybe you got the new version?
colours in it are lovely aren't they
