...and painting with crayons, watching cbeebies, cuddling up dollies and being adorable etc etc
and stop:
-destroying newspapers
-eating visa bills
-munching the covers of Machiavelli's Prince
-tipping the cat's water on the carpet half an hour after they've done it once
-tipping mugs of coffee on the sitting room rug
-falling off the sofa because they are walking on it, again
-shattering the baking pyrex bowl on the kitchen tiles
- dropping a jar of cournichons straight from the fridge on to themselves
-only finding amusement in my inhalers & nurofen
-hitting the cat repeatedly with a brush
-putting every piece of random shite off the kitchen floor in their mouths and swalling when you ask them to open their mouths
-licking shoes.....?

It never ceases to amaze/infuriate/sometimes amuse me that despite having a room full of fab toys, Abby's favourite game is still either emptying mummy's (stupidly left open  ) handbag, grabbing the remote control and b***dy telly or pulling DVDs and CD's off the shelves and throwing them across the room!

Probably between 18months & 2 years but they do still like to play with non toys too but maybe not as much as they did :wik: .

J is only 8 months but she will play/tear every item that's not a toy. She makes a beeline for remotes or the cordless phone

Yes, Del will crawl super-quick for an unattended remote! I'm dreading the toddler stage, Z managed to put the entire contents of my purse in the video, colour the tv in orange felt pen and set fire to the cooker. Need eyes in your :booty:

Ellis is 2 on Monday and he still likes to destory things :)
I must have the only kid in the world who has a bucket full of toys and is not really interested in them.
He has a boat load of Little Poeple stuff and he just throws them around the living room.

Thanks Popinjay, at least I know there's an end and it's not very far, by about christmas I reckon!!! :)
So when the tamtrumettes turn into full blown paddies, AT LEAST she won't rip the pages of my books!! YAY!
Bless you seashell, I bet you can't wait ;)
The fascination with the remote control has decreased a little, but my mobile is a forbidden toy so that holds a lot of screaming power still.
I am just a bit fed up of the *search and destroy* daily excursions. Some things make me cross because, blimey, because she is destroying MY things, my books, my dolls house, my cds...
Other things annoy me because they mean triple the work, like breaking glass things, tipping cat food on the carpet etc.
The rest just make the hairs in my arms rise and feel panic like I've nev er done in my life. Has she broken a tooth by falling off the sofa? Is she opening the bleach & soaps cupboard? (its locked btw), is tito going to scram her in the face with a paw because she is finally getting on her tits?
Why can't she play with the gazillions of toys I BUY HER?????
