Does anyone take their lo?
I've had a look on the site and its £4.50 a session. Just wondered if it was worth the money?
Thanks

I started taking DS to this when he was 1, he started with Gymbabes and moved up to the next class once he was walking.
One of the reasons he went was that a few of my friends were doing it and we then tended to have lunch or whatever after the class. I do think he has got a lot out of it and I think this is increased over time. He now does the class on his own (while us mummies get to have a gossip in the next room), and I think this has helped his confidence a lot and they always says how much he enjoys it and how polite he is.
I know my one offered a trial class so you can see if it is for you before you sign up and we pay for 5 classes at a time so you are not committed for a term at a time.

Sorry for hijack but I know what you been about going on your own. I went to a rhythm time class on my own today, part of the reason I'm going is to meet you new people. When the class finished like a dork I got up and left then noticed everyone else had stayed for a chat . They must have thought I was really antisocial!. Admittedly quite a few turned up together so maybe most knew each other already.
Ah well, maybe I can sign up to gymbabes and try not to make an :booty: of myself this time.

adele - you can start at any age with them. One of my friends has started recently when her DD was a bit over 2 and she loves it.
E started at 2 and LOVES tumbletots - highlight of her week - it is £8 a session here - London prices
We are probably going to the tumbletots day at legoland on sept 10th. there is a lot of marketing and the free dvd and cd I got on registration are driving me mad ( a ploy to make you buy more - I have resisted as yet - though DH and I know all the songs by heart).
I like the sessions as well structured and always lead to a good nap - and I do genuinely feel it has made her more confident at climbing/jumping. Worth a go

I take Ellis to Jo jingles, but I found that our class is not one for chatting to other mummies  We say hello, but we are not big on conversations. But Ellis is really getting into it now and getting the hang of the instruments.
