Can we have a good garden toy thread please?

We've recently got this

It's cool as it really does pack up into a small box, so not a hassle to keep over winter and there's a load of accessories to go with it. It's recommended for 6yrs+ but DS (3) is playing a lot with the net and balls, if not the swingball.

I would also recommend a trampoline. Our garden is quite small so we went for a 6 foot job last year but it really has been used.

Now, I'm after a good paddling pool- we've always had the small blow up ones for about £5 which have been fine up until now, but now the kids are much bigger (but not a giant swimming pool thingy). Plus I was wondering if there were any around that weren't blow up ones, does anyone remember the blue ones with triangle corner seats (we had one when we were young :old: )

Friends bought this the other day and their kids (and mine) just can't get enough of it!

Personally I think its expensive for what it is and it would not be safe in our garden but in a big flat space with no dangerous drops its ace :thumb: There's usually a 20% off code for ELC around and its part of their 3 for 2.

Have seen a 3-in-1 swingball set in Morrisons for £18, it also has a basketball net and a football training thing; that seems good value and is from 5 upwards I think but we're getting it for S's 4th birthday.

We have a TP plastic sandpit (lid is broken so can't use it as a sandpit now) that we'll use as a paddling pool this summer.

The garden toys that are used the most here are mini versions of tools, broom, watering can etc.

We've just bought this for our two - just it count as an outdoor toy?? Ours is just plain woodstain though, and looks :lurve: :lurve:

We've also got the age 3+ swingball, which is great, and last week I bought and outdoor hopscotch set for Emma from Sainsbury's (lots of outdoor toys were reduced), but it was too windy to use when we tried it!

We've a teeny tiny paddling pool, and a swing, and god knows how many bikes/ride-on toys!
