a good friend of mine had a baby the day before me and i STILL haven't sent her anything :oops:

its too late to send by post from here so i was thinking of getting something from a UK website.

she was sounding a bit down last time i spoke to her so i want to send her something nice. (hmmm, not terribly helpful is it?)

so i wondered if anyone had any good website they used for sending pressies, or any good ideas for pressies. its her second baby also.

or anyone want to volunteer to pop over and give her a bunch of roses or something from me? :tongue:

I bought bubbajack a really really lovely red and white striped blanket and matching hat from www.daisyzoo.co.uk (http://www.daisyzoo.co.uk) the other day.

Products are gorgeous (admittedly not cheap) but more impressive was it comes wrapped in a lovely gift box in tissue paper etc etc - which I certainly didn't ask for or pay for!

They have really lovely stuff on that site - hope that helps!

I really wanted a new blanket for bubbajack - especially as it's coming into the winter and he'll be wrapped in it every day!! Same with the hat!

Probably wouldn't get flowers as, lovely as they are, I remember last time, our house looked and smelled like a funeral parlour for about 2 weeks (:doh:) Mind you, having said that, probably won't get any this time !!
