And it's not likely to be fulfilled any time soon.

Mr P and I spoiled ourselves before Maisie came along and had lots of wonderful holidays. Sri Lanka and our tour of the national parks of America were the best. I have the urge to go somewhere.

I think we have to have a foreign holiday next year. We haven't been abroad since a week in Spain when I was 8 weeks pregnant and we went for a friend's wedding.

Maybe we could get a villa with a pool somewhere in Spain or Portugal next year. :scratchchin: I have to try and persuade Mr P to go away with my parents so I get some time off. :puzzled:

I want some sun, sea, culture, and lots of lovely food and wine. Where would you recommend?

Magaluf :teehee:

Seriously, we went to Portugal - Sintra - and it was lovely. it's not too far from the sea if you have a car (10 mins) and a World Heritage Site so v cultural.

Oooh Kate Sintra, isn't that where the beautiful gardens are? would love to go there. I have strong Portuguese connections (my step Mum is portuguese, I went and worked there twice staying with her both times before my Dad and her were even an item - you could blame me for that ) and have never been there, heard so many wonderful things about it.

I have constant wanderlust and NEED to fulfill this need at least once a year - a problem on our current budget. I crave South America (have never gotten over our 3 month trip to Mexico - it'll never happen again til the kid(s) have left home I guess!

Good luck Pancake and make sure you get away - it does you so much good.
