View Full Version : I've got that Sunday night feeling...

...for the first time in nearly 15 months I am having to get myself organised and ready to go to work tomorrow morning :-(

No more leisurely lie ins while I listen to Sophie babbling in her cot and then watching GMTV while she has her bottle. The alarm is set for 6am so I can get ready before she wakes up and then we have to be out the door at 7.45am. And if that wasn't bad enough I then have to go and be all professional like and work for 8 hours!

Please wish me luck - I think I am going to need it!!

Aaaaw Good Luck Emgem!!! You'll be fine :wik:

And it's so true y'know when people say the reality isn't as bad as the expectation!

I was TOTALLY averse to going back to work and managed to delay for 8 extra months even though we were flat broke but I really don't mind going to work now. I'll even admit that when I'm there I hardly think about my LO:oops:,certainly don't worry about her.

It's just a shame my job is so mind-numbingly dull :laff:

Good luck! I'm sure you'll get used to your new routine in no time :wik:

Oh hun
:hugs:
The first couple of days are the hardest and then you notice it's getting easier and easier and then you realise it's all second nature.....
I rarely miss James now and know he's getting lots out of me working (well, obviously I'm not working at the moment but you get my drift).
Good luck for tomorrow - let us know how it goes

Aww good luck hun!!

As Shamu said the first few days are hard but just think, you get to drink a cup of tea without it going cold, you have a whole hour at lunch to do whatever you want!!

Also just think how excited you will be to get home and have cuddles!!!

Will be thinking of you babe :) :)

Good luck today.

I went back to work when Ellis was 4 months old. After the first few days it felt like I had never left.

I have never felt that I have missed out on Ellis growing up, and I probably appreciate the time I spend with him now.
