View Full Version : Arguing - I can't stand anymore of it

How do you deal with it?

They started the minute they got up this morning and didn't stop until I made them go and sit in their separate bedrooms until we left for school, and then they're bickering and poking each other all the way up the road.

Ellie just isn't happy unless she's winding her sister up or making her cry, Grace is always whinging or crying because Ellie is being a pain. Grace is constantly on the wind up as well, it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other - except Ellie gets the brunt of the bollockings as it always seems to be her voice I'm hearing

I can't bear any more of it. I feel like I'm refereeing a 24/7 fight.

As tempting as it is I can't keep them locked in their rooms all the time, so other than shouting a lot, I don't know how to tackle it anymore.

It's constant, they're fighting or winding each other up ALL the time they're together

My two cant even sit next to each other without one of them kicking or poking the other :yeahright:

I make my two go to seperate ends of the room and face the wall, sometimes standing on one leg If it's really bad  but my two are older than yours.

Sometimes I get so sick of it I just leave them to it but then last time that happened my DS ended up with a black eye! (from his sister)

Not helping am I?

Well, my brother, sisters and I all get on really well now that communication is limited to emails

It helps that I live in Spain, one sister lives in NZ and the other 2 are in different parts of the UK. We are all in our 30's and 40's :teehee:

Should we all happen to be in the same room at the same time, the poking, tounge sticking out and general bitchiness is still there :cheer2:

I know that we turn into 10 year olds, when we spend the Summer there "Mom, tell him..."
