I have suffered with stiff neck and shoulder tension for a long while and have reflexology for it.
I have noticed occasionally a little lump on my left shoulder just above my clavicle bone. I thought to myself oh that's just an inflamation.
This am I noticed it more so and on touching it is spongy and looks a bit like a cyst, size of a small flat pebble.
I have been doing this Indian Head massage course and I have practising a lot and also have recieved treatments.
Has this made a difference to it?

Obviously will get it checked, just need reassurance I guess and any one else had this kind of thing.

Sorry no advice - please get it checked out soon but son't worry too much in the mean time. It could just be a fatty deposit or something (?)

I'll ring up the surgery first thing Monday anyhow and take it from there and leave it there hopefully.
Thanks. :)

Yes, I got to see the Triage nurse this am, she said it was prolly fatty tissue. She did notice my nodes were up on my neck too. I haven't been ill.
I was given the advice to take Ibruprofen and she made an appointment for me to see the Doctor next week to see how things are.

Hi madasatwig:wave:

How are you now? Did your lump disappear and your nodes go down?

Hope you're ok:nod:

Well I got an appointment tomorrow, fatty tissue lump still there and I got a nasty head cold.
So that may explain the nodes being up last time.
But I seem to get lots of minor colds lately, probably just run down a bit.

Yeah I got the all clear.
It is a Lipoma, benign tumour. Only thing that can happen is it gets a lot bigger and get in the way.
Then I can have it cut away, if necessary.
Thanks.
